Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
It will work. We know Wind Energy alone will not fix all problems facing our nation; However, it will make a Massive Impact over the years to come. Currently I am preparing to attend College in the spring, having trouble commiting to a major, would love to be an advocate for our cause and take it further with my education.
What excites you about this campaign?
IT WILL WORK, Wind Energy along with Solar, CNG, Switchgrass and Ethonal alternatives, will make enough of an impact to help us off our knees.
My children are learning with me !
What do you want to do to help?
Very interested in starting a local chapter at area schools, this is my next project !
Assisting with recruiting, I am currently working on joining the 100 Club !
I welcome an Experienced Mentor in Wind Energy!

! WOW !

I just finished getting signatures for the pledge, I will send that in in the morning. 100 Club here I come ! It literally took me less than four hours that includes travel time. I covered approx. 6 miles. I am amazed at the community response. I live in a very small town but after a brief explanation of the pledge most people were grabbing for the petition. People of all age groups.
I would like to say that out of 100 people not one said "No" but i can't do that because in fact ONLY 1 said "No" !

My First Blog Ever,.....?

I have always wanted to write a little so here's my shot. I guess everyone is a writer these days..?

"Techno World Here I Come", I think my first blog ushers me in appropriately ? O'no, no spell check ! lol

I personally think that The Pickens Plan is a very well structured organization. There web site is extremely friendly, community is very outreaching, media is always current and you have to admit they have a pretty good cause ?

In using their network, I have… Continue

Hi Stephine,

I'm ready to go to print and into schools with my Power Families series of three books about children who live on renewable energy farms.
I've launched an exciting, crowd fund-raising project to do this:  http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1642371480/the-power-families-clean-energy-kids-books-project .  In return for pledges people receive discounted copies of the books and other, unique, limited edition goodies.
Wired Magazine has just given me a great review: http://www.wired.com/geekdad/2011/04/celebrate-earth-day-with-the-power-families/  .
So far I've funded the series from my own pocket, and now the Kickstarter Project is my way to be able to get the renewable energy message to kids much quicker, and with a far greater reach, than I can otherwise.
Renewable energy is an exciting subject, fundamental to the power needs of us all.
Please support me to help get this important and exciting subject into schools and help spread the word!
Many thanks and all best wishes, Suse

Thought you might be interested in the Idaho National Laboratory facebook site. We do a lot of energy research including wind, nuclear, solar, natural gas, etc. http://www.facebook.com/idahonationallaboratory

Hey Stephine

Have you signed up for a Congressional District yet, they could surely use your help! Started a little healthy competition with the other 100CLUBBERS. Which district can finish first!?

Have a great day!

Hi Stephanie,

Welcome to the Pickens 100 Club. We are trying harder, we know what this country needs, and we will better ourselves by making a contrivution to T. Boone Pickens sound thinking, and simple objectives.

We represent hard facts about importing 70% of the oil we use, and this is insane, and as we have other ways to power our economy.

I've been an engineer for 30+ years, and have made my life to be for the betterment using Solar energy...free, clean, forever ( I have four kinds of solar systems here in New Mexico). I made Pickens Plan known on CR4, a worldwide engineering information network, and we will use the interenet, and grass roots efforts to "Wake Up America-And Beccome a Zero Importer of Foriegn Oil".

Everyone must deal with where my career should go in education. Just be with people who care, and they will support you, and help you to find the career where you will prosper.

Best Regards,

Karl Mayr
