Phillip Ridings said… - I've read estimated figures from different companies - it would depend on the wind turbine its performance and cost. All I can do is tell you is if you were to by a Vertas or GE Wind Turbine for 4.5 mil - Mine should cost the same. So if they're specs. put their unit at $2.00 per Kwh then you can bank on this unit reducing that cost to .50 per Kwh, 1/4th the cost of any other unit, as it works 24 / 7 100% of the time and not the current 33% of the time like the others. Dragonfly was built for speed and pure performance... over time even that cost per Kwh may come down each year or with new innovation it could drop the cost even more. I can tell you... currently its being looked by a company who is involved in HAG (High Altitude Generator) simply because of its unique design. This will feed the other markets that will open up after that. Land Based systems... Sea based systems and High-Rise and residential design units. The experts who have already seen it...are really excited about its applications now. But at this point that's all I can say. Want to buy one or invest? Hope this helps.
