Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I dont have the schooling, But since I was a child I always felt I be part in a change in transportation. I believe it in many forms, But one teacher once said to me, if you have heat or friction you have power. I think once we have a battery that once charged to get a car going, that the four wheels can should produce a on going recharge to the battery. I believe its class 101. I just wish I had the money to play around with it. So not being where I thought I be at this time in my life. Im tring to get people thinking about it. and maybe someone else may find the way. To Mr. Boone Picken I saw you on TV a Oklahoma State football game. I hoped that one day I could meet you. You was talking about working on a water pipe line from west Texas to serve the DFW area and Ok. city
I have hope that one day I can get back in the AG business, Mostly in the cattle business. From seeing you on TV maybe you could be the one to help me on my goal to be a leader in feeding the world. knowing I shouldnt have graduated High School. My spelling and grammer is bad. But strong in math and reasoning, I have a can do aditude, if a cat has 9 lives there`s 9 way`s to skin it.
What excites you about this campaign?
Mr. Boone Pickens, glad to see you give back. To where many or as I see it, people that made their money as you did, just look to where they can get more of it (power) playing the big board. Your playing the big board but seeing the big picture as in the whole.
I have a big fear to the money change or where its picking up the wealth getting wealther, its pick-up a faster pace. I have a big fear the American dream is going to be dead in the near future. P.S. To Mr. Pickens please watch out for the one`s that dont wont you doing what your doing.
What do you want to do to help?
Being of any part of it, in working on free energy, I beleive it there class 101. For sure put me down on any list you need to send to the goverment. and pleases if I can help in man power I will, if I get my bills paid. long story to where I got to the point where Im at but working on getting out in the short time I beleave that left to do it.

I Got a Idea, electric self generating power

Ok, I have been seeing this coming for a long time. I been a commody future trader in the 80`s and was a broker once in 93. On the supply and demand end world wide we`er at a bust on oil, TODAY. Oil is picking up in the 3rd world counrties and growing big time. Today we`er useing more then we`er producing world wide, to me thats the big problem. I believe that we can make a electric car that self genarates its own power. I think its class 101. This is not my field in making a living but its ther… Continue

Nay sayers, Whats up, who do you work for ?

I think that if a person dont or cannt up with something on the upside. byside resending the same offsided message over and over needs to be blocked. Do you work for the Oil or auto`s companies?

Why do people got to get on this site 24/7, and be a nay sayer. do you work for the car and or oil companies

Every time I come on here, the last two dayes. Its the same person resending the same message. you cannt come up with something on the plus side from time to time. then you need to be blocked I think.

Happy New Year Steve,
Last year I helped so many members of Pickens Plan learn about personal home energy plans. It's all about conservation of power, and home power generation, things I have been doing at my residence to lower my electricity costs. Send me a friend request a to add me Steve, I'd be honored to have you as a friend here.

BTW, Texas: I just posted an article link on my pickens page about Home Wind Systems in Texas. Your state's representatives, governor, and public utility commission officials are not in your corner with this "weak policy" on Net Metering. Instead they have the tables turned against green power for businesses and homeowners. Texas has created multiple sets of rules for loopholes and you have less rights than people in other states. You should read that article, important.

Steve,
The plan has been reorganizing into local congressional districts. This allows us to more easily touch base and interact with our local group members. It is similar to The North Texans group except even more localized.
We request you join the TX-26 group which covers much of DFW.
Regards, Joey Horn

Greetings Steve,
Our cost effective, new roof mounting residential wind turbine kits shipping now. The kits are attractive, sleek, well designed to install as a home appliance on the roof, much like an antennae or satellite dish. They are as easy to install as other home appliances, like dishwasher, etc. You can now begin a personal energy plan. These systems are inexpensive, easy to install, scaleable.

Your Wind blows stronger in the winter, Your Sun shines stronger in the summer months. This hybrid wind/solar system combines these cycles to give a more even flow of energy year round. This homeowner sized wind/solar system provides free power for your home. Many customers have found it easy to become customer/dealers of our kits. Customers can become a dealer with no further investment, they see quickly how people are easy to get interested.

I have used the same systems save money on my electricity costs and Steve, you can too. Your local wind resources are so good in Oklahoma. Please see these windmaps at the link below and pinpoint what number your area is in. Zone 2 is OK, anything over 2 is (very) good. First double check your wind resources from the map and links below.

You're welcome, Steve. I am usually a pretty good source for info on the 'net. I actually have the movie about the GM EV-1 fate burned to a dvd.

You bet Steve; glad to help. Thanks for mentioning the car of the future from the past. That documentary was eye opening for me. It just goes to show us all how greedy and anti-do-the-right-thing corporate America really is. Companies like GM are never to be trusted to do the right thing. Even if they do, it's motivated by greed.

It sickens me to see all the 'green' car commercials on TV. Car companies seem to think that a car that gets 20 MPG is green? That's nuts. Do the math. Back when gas was $1.45 a gallon (if even that was cheap gas) a 20 MPG car cost 7.3 cents a mile to operate. To operate a car for the same 7.3 cents a mile today, the car would need to get 56 MPG if the fuel cost $4.10 a gallon (which is that national average this week). (BTW, it now costs 20.5 cents a mile to operate that 20 MPG car at $4.10 a gallon; 281% more!) Buddy, that's just breaking even! A 'green' car, in my mind, ought to be getting 75 to 100 miles to the gallon. If you remember the good ol' days when gas was under $1 a gallon, a car would need to get at least over 100 MPG to operate for the same cost per mile. It might be a good thing to publish a list of what cars cost to operate on a cents per mile basis at the current AAA average price at the pump survey says. It has changed my driving habits by thinking this way. For instance, a 15 mile round trip to the grocery store in my Toyota Tundra that gets 16 MPG at $3.81 PG (local price for fuel here) costs me $3.57. I've got to make sure I can justify a trip now berfore I go. And when I go, I load up so I don't have to go back for another week. Anyway, just my two cents.
Lyn
