Some knowledge of solar energy 20 years ago from sheet metal workers union training. We had wind energy on our family farm seemed to do the job.
Steve Walden is married to his beautiful wife Kim and proud parent of five children, four girls and one son. They have a grandson and reside in Oklahoma City. A native of Oklahoma and local entrepreneur, He attended Oklahoma State University pursuing a degree in agriculture. As a young man he started a landscaping company. All this while working as an apprentice and soon to be journeyman sheet metal worker fabricating stainless steel kitchen equipment for many restaurants locally.
He moved on into the computer industry and technology arena working as a partner and Vice President of Pace Butler Corporation for twelve years and then started two technology companies in the Edmond and Oklahoma City area Asset Disposition Group which liquidated computer assets and Envirotech Global a environmentally conscious electronic waste recovery and recycling company specializing in electronic data destruction of hard drives for corporate clients.
He has served in various positions in the community volunteering his time to help those less fortunate and has constantly worked with his help mate in counseling couples in marriage and disciplining men though his church also as a moderator with CBMC Forums ministry and a couple prison ministries of which he has served for over eighteen years building church’s and leading men to Christ. His hobbies are riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, running marathons, camping, hiking and fishing.
He now leads the ELC Roundtable a peer to peer organization of Entrepreneurs, Leaders, and CEOs whose mission is Members Helping Members Be Successful in Business & Life. ELC Roundtable’s vision is to have 200 members in each of the top 50 cities in the United States. This role allows him to combine over 25 years of experience and promote the development of small businesses across our great country.
What excites you about this campaign?
We need to make drastic changes in our country and it starts with us the people, we do not need to depend on other countries to sustain our needs
