It actually makes sense instead of just using it to get elected! I am originally from South Texas, and this Summer I drove through West Texas and saw the amazing Wind Farms.

You seem to have navagated through things pretty well as you have run across a posting of mine and made a nice comment. I wish to thank you for that comment, it was heart warming. I was unaware that any of my comments were echoed by any one in the main stream media. I seem to be in the far extreme in my comments and it usually takes a couple of years before anything I say starts being recognized or picked up or echoed by any one else.

For example, in 2001-2002 I was saying that we shold not go to war with Iraq. The reasons cited were 1. I did not believe Iraq actually had weapons of mass destruction like was being touted. 2. I did not believe that the people of this nation would be supportive of the time it would take to win the peace after we deposed Saddam, which was stated to be an intended action of the war. 3. I also did not believe our allies would stand with us to the end. All of these have come to be true.

In 2004 I warned that by the end of 2008 fuel prices would approach if not reach $5.00 in some parts of the nation and that high fuel prices would not limited to local areas due to a disaster type situation. Well that one also hit the mark.

In 2006 I was warning that the energy bill of 2005 would expose weaknesses of this nations ability to move beyond a dependency upon foreign oil and that would cause an economic disaster in this nation. This prompted me to develop a plan that would help this nation move towards energy independence via a national water network look to achieve sustainable water resources. Knowing that sustainable water resources was directly linked to sustainable production of levels of ethanol and bio-diesel necessary to achieve energy independence with them. I also warned that this nation needed to focus on building a renewable energy infrastructure. I stated that if this would immediately start to happen that the impending economic disaster could be lessened.

Our government had a perfect opportunity to put a portion of $700 billion directly into a renewable energy infrastructure and failed to do that choosing wall street over the stability of main street where main street's economic recovery is necessary for wall street to recover. Though they made this choice wall street is still in an economic tail spin because there has been nothing done to prevent a return of the conditions that caused the economic colapse we are in right now because main street remains at risk and in peril.

It is only through giving this nation an ability to defend against skyrocketing energy prices, in particular peteroleum crude oil, that this nation will gain a strong economic footing and recover. Any other economic recovery with out such an ability with in this nation will be an artifically propped up recovery that will not sustain itself.

Victoria has got of a lot of things going on in the area. There is nuclear plant planned for McFaddin, an expansion of the coal plant at Coleto, and removing uranium by leaching it with water between Goliad and Cuero. We have a lot of things to watch along with the energy business.

Thanks for the comments to my blog. Victoria is about 65-70% McCain and 30-35% Obama if you wondered. To me the main issues are the war, the economy, and people's rights. I would like to see someone endorse the Pickens Plan just to show they would really really work on something we can do now about the environment and energy at the same time. I am worried about the CO2 from Clean Coal and that it will take 20+ years to get there and I am worried about how we will find the water to do it.
