- What excites you about this campaign?
- I agree that we need to stop or drastically reduce the US's oil consumption. Clean energy alternatives like wind, water and solar seem like great ways to have a renewable/reusable energy source, rather than using up oil that will take "forever" to replenish.
- What do you want to do to help?
- Promote the pickens plan on my blog (lincoln-nh-re) and maybe at the local energy committee meeting.

I am active way over here in Madison, NH. I am passionate about getting everyone to at least look at and decide for themselves as to the validity and possible prosperity of this sound energy plan. What has hit me the hardest as I spread information and invitations, to everyone I speak with it has hit me that most all of them only vaguely heard of the plan, or seen a commercial. so invite I do and I have had every single pledge I print taken and have been thanked for letting them know that there is more to know. I am proud to be part of this and I know it will have good results. Who can really fight with common sense?
I suggested a "what if" on my page. What if everyone who is working so diligently at spreading the information would send a simple request to every single group, post, blog spots, emails, literally anywhere one writes on the web. Ask simply & politely to please take a real look at the pickensplan. After a look, and they decide it is good ask if the will support it and pledge. I believe if all 3 million or so people on this site would do this one thing, we as a nation would rock the world wide web and in the end, politicians will have to hear and react. In this information age, this very well could spread the world over in literally 1 week. This is my challenge. Will you help America stand strong and prosper? Thank you for reading this. TRANSPORTATION is the master key to basic survival, and the cornerstone of the economy. We all know that transportation presently depends on oil production, and oil production is peaking. We must focus first on transportation – it is the highest priority. The PickensPlan to transition vehicles to natural gas is a great start toward 100% energy independence, but is a stop-gap measure till we can transition to all electric transportation.
