Florida Alliance for Renewable Energy.

Our mission is to educate, organize and represent beneficiaries in the adoption of a Renewable Energy Payment policy mechanism. We are launching a public relations marketing campaign focused on the advancement of a REP policy. By way of gaining broad support for this effort we will be engaging in a three pronged approach. First is to educate and influence the policy makers, elected officials and decision makers. Second is to educate the current and future members of the alliance through workshops, board meetings and presentations. Third is to educate and stimulate the public into taking action through their support and involvement.
The reasons we believe a REP policy will be effective are simple but very powerful. First they are transparent and easy to understand. Second they provide access to anyone and everyone who wishes to produce renewable energy, creating a level playing field for producers, individuals and businesses of all sizes. Third they provide no limit or cap on the upside of production, thus allowing a truly self directed market. Fourth and perhaps most important they offer ability to be financed, creating a whole new lending market and a whole new industry.
Stakeholders in FARE include renewable energy producers, individual residents of the state of Florida, community organizations, municipalities, elected officials, ranchers, farmers, commercial real estate holders, developers, manufacturers, non profits and associations.
Our goal is to represent one collective effort showing support for advancing rapid, widespread deployment of renewable energy in the state of Florida. Our alliance will act as a public face in front of elected officials, potential members, community organizations, municipalities, like-minded initiatives, and the media. The alliance will also serve as an information hub, acting as a central source for collection and distribution of news, whitepapers, press releases and member activity.
Our three basic platforms for the REP mechanism are job creation, energy independence and environmental stewardship. During the 2009 legislative session we will advocate implementation of REPs with the House and Senate in Florida as well as the Governor and his team.
Please visit www.FAREnergy.org today to endorse FARE. Or call 888.501.FARE

Some really good stuff you've added to your page Tam!. Hey, looks like I might get the boot from the PP. If you want to trade any more info, you can use docsetc@msn.com. Apparently I stand up too strong for the truth on this think. See you over on our other site, so our conversations without crazed Leftist propaganda can go on fruitfully.

Maybe we'll see you there someday too. Good luck on here.

I added a comment to your blog 'DNC PREPARE TO VACATE TICKET, HOWARD DEAN TO JAIL' pending your approval. Quite frankly, it was more of a comment and do not ever care if it is posted, but it is pertinent to your blog,

I joined this site to learn more about what is going on fully realizing that some would take it over to harrass those of us who disagree with them politically. Goodness, guess I grew up in Texas and am not used to the brutal world of the radical left.

Living in Colorado is a great place for discussion about the pertinent energy issues and am slowly acquainting myself with this site. Guess there is a flurry of new people joining as I have only received one welcome message, but that is fine, I get to be independent as always.

There will be no one hero, the hero will be all of those who dicide to link in mass and that just can't be ignored.

It will require a mass information blitz with links in every corner. We will and need to advertise in every blank spot you can find.

We will all have to get involved in calling....oh yes, communicating with our local, state, and federal (I will not use the word leader, until they earn it) government guides.

We will need to write letters and ruffle feathers too.

It was a dismal response by both political leaders who actually did not respond appropriately to a real world solution to a in-surmountable problem.

If you truly understood the freedom lost by doing nothing...

It would already be done!

In fact, anyone who lives away from family should consider moving closer, back to be near them.

We all, the world, maybe loosing our right to travel. This is not a ploy at scare tactics, but when you really understand where we are headed, it won't take long to decide to take action or not. We can start today to make that change....

Congerss once again wastes our taxes, and we all know where there is oil there is gas!

Much of the oil and natural gas lies close to our shores and in Anwar, so Jon McCain fights against drilling in Anwar, and Congress passes a Bogus bill to drill with a minimum distance of 50 miles off shore.

" Dems Pick Pickens To Headline Energy Summit Despite His Opposition To Their Energy Plans"

The only problem with the above headline, is that after patting him on the back, they used the knife in the other hand to to stab him, by keeping the plan out of the reach of the very natural gas th… Continue

Response From U.S. Senator Martinez

Dear Ms. Heater:

Thank you for contacting me regarding the use of natural gas as a transportation fuel. I appreciate hearing from you and would like to take this opportunity to respond.

Natural gas currently provides 22% of the energy our nation uses but only 2.2% of the energy used for transportation. While demand for this domestically-available, cleaner-burning fuel has grown, a lack of natural gas fueling stations and infrastructure has limited the growth of natural gas vehicles. Transit bu… Continue

Mel Martinez Position on The Gang of 10 Correct!

MARTINEZ: “GANG OF 10” PROPOSAL IS WRONG FOR U.S.

September 12, 2008 -
WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Mel Martinez (R-FL) today issued the following statement regarding the pending “Gang of 10” proposal that is expected to be brought up for consideration next week during the Senate’s debate on overhauling U.S. energy policy.

Senator Martinez said:

“I am for more domestic exploration. We need to drill for oil in ANWR and the OCS. We need to start taking advantage of the vast supplies of oil shale i… Continue

Bill@billnelson.senate.gov , Senator Bill Nelson

Dear Ms. Heater:

Thank you for contacting me about increasing our nation's use of natural gas.

We must develop a long-term energy strategy that alleviates high energy prices and reduces our dependency on foreign oil while protecting our precious environment. The prices of home energy and gasoline have risen in recent months, leaving many struggling to afford driving to work and heating or cooling their homes.

Natural gas usage shows promise as way to lower energy prices and greenhouse gas emi… Continue

Who supplies conversion kits? Who is installing?

None of the site will tell me how to convert my car to natural gas. some don't
work or they say only for fleet . what do I do?\]

Good question, Jake. I have found the same information you have.

The links folks have provided to access conversion information only leads to more and more links, with no real end point to information. If conversion exists for autos to date, I think many would be interested in… Continue

Need to learn HTML to promote the PickensPlan?

The Pickens Plan site is great because you don't have to learn a great deal of HTML to promote this site. A couple of sources can get you going in no time.

One site would be W3Schools, just Google it, their site is so user friendly, and they have instruction and practice modules to assist you. Their search mode is fantastic. If you want to create a link, just type in "create link", greater and far more complicated programming is discussed as well, and one can even earn a certification in progra… Continue

Representative Ellyn Bogdanoff, Florida

Thank you for your recent email regarding the use of compressed natural
gas (CNG) as a transportation fuel. As your State Representative, I
appreciate learning of your support on this important issue.

With gas prices and the cost of electricity rising, Florida is making
some important decisions about its energy future. That is why we are
considering all transportation fuel options available, including CNG.

There are currently 15 CNG stations in Florida that primarily serve
local government and… Continue

Well go ahead and ask something.

Look, it seems the far left is a bit upset with T. Boone because he made a fortune, that is the only real gripe I am picking up from the Daily Kos regarding T. Boone Pickens. If you think he is trying to gobble up all the fresh water in the west ask him directly.

It seems easier to speculate about what someone "is" or "what they think" or what they are "really trying to do" than to ask, and it seems to me that far left has not meet a person, a plan, a solution,… Continue

CNG will set us free....

Ok, well maybe not free, but at a far less price than that of non US oil is costing us.

Well, it's clear in my point of view, that Sarah is embracing T. Boone Pickens and his plan, and all of us PickensPlanners! That CNG line is for all of us. From Alaska with love! She is a no-nonsense, common sense, un-PC-nit-picker, that has an earthy quality that is so nice to hear expressed for once.

Employ Detroit

I believe a few folks in Detroit could use some extra jobs and one thing I know they can do is design the conversion kits form gasoline to CNG for the country. They know the systems inside out. They can start with my 2006 Impala!
