- We have done extensive work on increasing lift on wind turbine blades to get potentially 30-40% increase in efficiency. That means 30-40 % increase in electricity production at same wind speeds or same power production at reduced wind speeds.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- A chance to do the logical , doable things sooner than later.
- What do you want to do to help?
- To bring ourselves, Australia's University of New South Wales (UNSW) together with a US university, say Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) or a Texas University. to accomplish the most significant breakthroughs in energy production and also in energy consumption reduction as has been proven for our other technologies such as our Stealth pump, fans and unique new motor/pump in one.

TURN OFF APPLIANCES/ CHALLENGE MANUFACTURERS.
Firstly turn off unused lights and turn off all appliances such as TV’s, Stereos, DVD players etc that usually are kept in Standby Mode.
When buying new appliances check the energy rating. Refuse to buy a ‘Brand Name” if it cannot show the highest energy rating. You would be surprised at how many appliances do not stack up and by how much.

WIND ENERGY AND DOMESTIC APPLIANCE EFFICIENCY
I am not involved with worthy potential contributing solutions such as geothermal, biodiesel, solar etc.
I am concentrating on 2 subjects.
1; how to significantly reduce consumption of electricity by all appliances and industry and;
2; how to significantly increase electricity production from wind. Both these would significantly reduce fossil fuel reliance and consumption.

Practical solutions now
Wind power is much more efficient but suitable sites are rare.
Therefore critics dismiss these (and other) renewables as insignificant. They are only partly right.

We have petitions! "THE PLEDGE" is on the main page.
I think this is the very best tool we could ask for. It is so much easier to get someone to sign a petition than to go online and join the plan as a member.
I have been test driving it for a few days and got 200 signatures rather eaasily. Most folks had seen the ads or seen Boone on the news. Most were eager to sign it and strongly support it. A few wanted to get more info- I handed them a business card with the website. Very few said no (2 or 3).
I hope you can ask all your "friends" to download a bunch of PLEDGES and fax them back to the office ASAP. THIS IS HOW WE BUILD AN ARMY much faster. Millions of signatures.
Thank you for all your efforts. We have a very strong team. Many ants can take the Hill!

I wanted to let you know that I have finally entered my plus point minus point list on the pickensplan.com site evaluation project that I recently started.
I invite you to look this project/entry over and perhaps you will have your own plus point minus point list to add to the project. The more lists that are added by the members and the more members there are adding their lists the more that there will be revealed. And the more that is revealed the more accurate we can become in adjusting this site to continually be more streamlined and more effective in its mission.

I caught your recent comment on Pat Jack's page. It was impressive. Easy to follow and easy to understand. But what I liked the most was that it was logical!
I am not a tech person but I will be reading more of your originations and postings. It is clear that you have a point of view and understanding that is much needed in this new era we've entered.

The stars have aligned to create the possibility of a paradigm shift that is and has been urgently needed. We have an angry citizenry due to pain at the pump, a presidential election on the horizon, and a man with a plan to dramatically and imminently reduce our dependance on foreign oil, and provide a bridge to future solutions, who has the resources, contacts, knowledge, wealth and "will" to get it done.
Please share this plan with your circle of friends, family and associates. Urge them to JOIN. As you know, it is simply like signing a petition. With large numbers of supporters, we can put pressure to bear on Congress to incentivize alternative and renewable energies, and insure that our future president will be a leader that will push for domestic energy solutions. JFK once said. "in the next 10 years we will put a man on the moon". He got it done. We need that kind of leadership on energy.
Time is of the essence. If gas prices retreat the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost. How frightening to be looking back and apologizing to our children that we could not get this done when we had the chance.

We have the contacts we need at University of New South Wales, Georgia Tech research Institute Caltech and some of the leaders in aeronautical sciences. Initially we may have to leave government out. Together we can make it happen.
