We Are Mad As Hell and Not Going To Take It Anymore!
Ever notice how nobody pays any attention until you complain about something? e.g. "the squeaky wheel gets the oil." Well, people it's time to start complaining. Mr. Pickens has done an increditable job to stimulate interest to "cut the oil umbillical cord". Let's not let him down.

We have petitions! "THE PLEDGE" is on the main page.
I think this is the very best tool we could ask for. It is so much easier to get someone to sign a petition than to go online and join the plan as a member.
I have been test driving it for a few days and got 200 signatures rather eaasily. Most folks had seen the ads or seen Boone on the news. Most were eager to sign it and strongly support it. A few wanted to get more info- I handed them a business card with the website. Very few said no (2 or 3).
I hope you can ask all your "friends" to download a bunch of PLEDGES and fax them back to the office ASAP. THIS IS HOW WE BUILD AN ARMY much faster. Millions of signatures.
Thank you for all your efforts. We have a very strong team. Many ants can take the Hill!

Thomas said… - Propane kits cost between $2500-$4000 plus installation. Biggest problem is you have to tap the manifold. It would be a disaster to tap with manifold of the engine because any iron shavings into the pistons could ruin the engine. LNG or Propane seems like the answer, but because of the expense you would have to drive a lot of miles to amortize the costs out. In San Diego it would be difficult to find LNG. Lots of propane can be purchased for a around $2.80 a gal.
This morning Coast to Coast had a very knowledgeable guest on who fells that ethanol E85 is the answer. I agree with David Blume. A local network of growers and alcohol producers could supply thousands if not millions of gallons of E85 from beets, molasses and waste products. This would be a great way not to rely on the Government or the Oil companies for supply. E85 conversion kits cost around $400 and easy to install. David Blume's web site was totally crashed the A.M with around 10k hits per hour. So you might have to wait. However, I found several videos on You Tube that were cool.
