Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

I have a B.A. in Economics with a heavy concentration in "oil economics." I have always been in favor of alternative energy sources but they have historically been both underfunded and bad-mouthed by oil companies. Sometimes there have been actual economic conspiracies to limit alternative energy growth. Happily, those days may be over.

What excites you about this campaign?

That Mr. Pickens is going to spend the money to educate the public and to actually "talk-up" and sufficiently economically back alternative energy plans. In addition to Mr. Pickens, BP has also come out in favor of alternative energy -- although that may mainly be a "PR" program, it still is a good for public education.

What do you want to do to help?

I am an attorney for several websites. I'd like to start a "push" group of "Websites & Bloggers in Favor of the Pickens Plan." My biggest web client (billions of hits per year) has already agreed to have PickensPlan.com links and free ads on his site to help with public education. I am sure my other clients will do so also as well as millions of other website owners who don't mind giving up some ad revenue to back a plan of such public importance.

Thanks for your comments regarding "Wind Power 4 New Jersey" group. I googled, as you suggested , however, I couldn't determine the AC picture you suggested. NJ State Assemblyman Ralph R. Caputo(District 28) supports the concept of establishing wind power turbines along NJ state highways and has requested his legislative staff to research the concept for poosible state action.
