Welcome! Conservation and Renewable Energy Spoken Here.

Profile Information

Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
Insulated Concrete Forms Dealer and Installer. R-32 walls. Geothermal HVAC. The best alternative is conservation then renewable. Fossil should become a last resort.
I have a new (1 year old) 6400 sq ft ICF home heating and cooling for less than a well built 1200 sq ft home with wood frame construction. Imagine that.
What excites you about this campaign?
The effort to do the right thing for our planet, people and economy. Security at the most basic level.
What do you want to do to help?
Get back to work. Support the effort to educate folks in using conservation and renewable energy while recycling to end dependence on fossil fuel.

Sustainable Communities are my mission.

I am a supporter of sustainable communities. Married 25 years and father of two teenage boys. I am a dealer and installer of energy conserving building envelope products for residential and light commercial applications.

Where are you guys.

I don't care if fossil fuel is 2 dollars a barrel. If you cut your useage in half you're still doing the right thing and you saved a buck.

Hey Tom,
Thanks for the Green Drinks info. I am familiar with it and had already planned on attending to promote Earth Week. There was a good turn out last night. Some regulars, but a bunch of people I had not seen before. Already looking forward to next month's meeting.

Welcome!
We are a voluntary community of individuals who are placing our combined support behind T. Boone Pickens and his efforts to send our government a clear (heard) message that we must reduce our nation’s dependence on foreign oil through the use of all domestic energy alternatives. This site is a place to interact with fellow Pickens Plan supporters, keep up with events and opportunities to help get more involvement. Look up your local leader from map on home pg.

On the home page, click on Daily Pickens to hear the latest from Boone.

We need to Push.PickensPlan.com – or “Push” as we like to call it.
Our future really does depend on us at this point in time!
If not now, WHEN? If not you, WHO? I am proud to put my efforts towards this cause.

Well as they say (the large lady voiced the end). Neither candidate openly gave his support outright for our plan. Both new about it and to a degree felt the intense support behind it. It goes back to another old saying, on the political platform be careful how far you put your foot in the door.
Keep in mind As Sara Lee tells us (you cannot please all the people all the time).
Again Welcome; Tom
