Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I graduated from the University California Irvine with an emphasis on environmental analysis and design, along with a minor in political science. I was a quadriplegic during my college due to an auto accident in '85. I was a surfer for 22 years before my accident, I love the natural world and what it currently provides us, but am more excited about the capabilities that exist and are untapped. My injury requires me to make and create solutions on a daily basis. Necessity is the mother of Invention. Producing an alternative energy solution is in my nature from what I must do to on a daily basis to exist and from my educations perspective.
What excites you about this campaign?
I have been disabled since '85 , went back to college afterwards and graduated 2001. An infection sent me back to a hospital after college and lost everything I owned, but I have once again regained my health. I have just been given the go ahead to work again. Besides finally getting the opportunity to be productive, becoming involved in a solution to help millions of people and this country is the greatest possible thing to do. I can’t think of anything more rewarding to do with the remainder of my life in my position. I have been an advocate for alternative fuel since the Carter days. Changes are needed because we can’t continue to allow any industry absolute dominance over our economy or have this much influence in our political system. These changes are necessary, they must be across the board, and they will be life changing opportunity for our entire country. This will be the Cotton Gin of 2008, this is such a great opportunity!
What do you want to do to help?
I want to get a group together and form an organization to work with similar organizations in other states.

One more Alternative

One other alternative energy source that operates every hour of every day regardless of night or day, rain or shine, and has more potential than solar and wind, but can easily add to the power grid. That is in our oceans using the tides. They are a vast unending source located along both coasts and much of our southern states. It can complete the deficiency in this plan and can put us on the plus side of the equation. I will add more inf soon!
