- A partner and I are developing a hydrogen generator for auto and truck applications and are finding similar issues that are present with CNG. Any addition to an engine will void warranties and could get you a fine from the EPA of Hundreds of $$$$$. Natural gas conversions are over $10,000 and the license to convert them are over $100,000 per engine per car type. Why are the car makers not making them and making some money. Volume equals lower cost. ???

- As a business man I see potential opportunites that are limited by political and economic limitations that are fixable.
As a former VP of large service organizations I have set up operations across the country to provide services like those required to fuel vehicles at home. But the conversion companies are being held back thereby limiting the implementation of CNG systems being used. Does it start at the factory?
- What do you want to do to help?
- I have stock in Williams and other natureal gas companies. I am in Tulsa and would like to meet with some company people to discuss the issue. I am also an experienced lobbiest, MBA etc. --Lets save a trillion dollars and keep it home.

This year I have helped so many members learn about personal home energy plans. It's all about power use, conservation, and home power generation, things I have been doing at my residence to lower my energy costs. BTW, oklahoma: I just posted an article about Home Wind Systems in oklahoma. Your state's representatives, governor, and public utility commission officials are not in your corner with this "soft policy" on Net Metering. Instead they have the tables turned against green power for businesses and homeowners. You should read that article, important.

We have new roof mounting residential wind turbine kits shipping now. I designed an automatic microprocessor controlled circuit that monitors the
current through the cell, and switches the cell on/off with pulse width modulation to produce maximum gas output with minimum current usage, and thermal runaway protection. The microprocessor also serves as a 3000 hz
signal generator to replace the 555 timer circuit in the EFIE (Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancer). The whole thing has a very small parts count and provides intelligent user feedback when the water in the cell gets low or
has an excess concentration of sodium hydroxide. If you want to learn more

The larger our membership the more likely we will be successful in getting Congress to provide effective incentives for alternative and renewable energies and in insuring that our future president will treat energy independence as a matter of the greatest urgency, applying the same kind of leadership as JFK exercised when he led us with his stirring challenge to put a man on the moon in 10 years.
THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
…to wait and see…or to see if someone else will step up to the plate. It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost. How frightening to think that we could be looking back and apologizing to our children that we chose not to get this done when we had the chance.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONS
We need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Write to your Congressman/woman. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan. Print downloadable flyers and put them in your car and/or business window.
YOU MAY FEEL INSIGNIFICANT
