Maybe--But Not Sure What to Organize
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
I have no experience with alternative energy. I am interested in pushing the CNG portion of the Pickens Plan. Colorado has a huge supply of CNG and I would like to do what I can to influence the Colorado state legislature to make good decisions about making greater use of this plentiful and clean energy sourse. I see this as an issue of national security. Paying our enemies for our energy needs is like paying a farmer to grow hemp in order to make a rope to hang yourself. It is self-destructive.
What excites you about this campaign?
The most exciting aspect of the Pickens Plan is energy independence. No need to fancy that up.
What do you want to do to help?
Whatever is needed. I am an effective writer and speaker. I haven't seen every plan out there, but out of the ones that I have seen, the Pickens Plan is the one that is most easily executable.

Plan Doomed By Name?

The “Pickens Plan”, for all intents and purposes, it might as well be called the “Make a Rich White Man Richer Plan”. I have looked at the Pickens Plan off and on for a couple of years and I run into the same problem. Every time I bring up the name, the response is always something about that rich white guy. For some reason, being a rich white guy just isn’t in vogue this week. For that reason, the Pickens Plan may have doomed itself. Maybe if Mr. Pickens would have gone with something more… Continue

Who's Got Gas?

I vaguely remember when G.W. Bush was in the White House and gas was teetering on $3 bucks a gallon. You would have thought that President Bush was hoarding all the gas on his Crawford Texas farm. Every time I turned on a TV, there it was; G.W. Bush, in bed with big oil. It has got to be this that is causing gas prices to rise. It turned out to be a much simpler force in action in the fuel market…supply and demand. Now we are here again. We have an increasing demand with a decreasing supply.… Continue

Forget Waiting for Energy Independence

After following energy policy, I quickly realized that the government has no interest in energy independence. Energy independence means greater freedom for American citizens. It means more money in your pocket to travel and do what you choose to do. Mobility is a great indicator of freedom. Can you imagine not being able to travel due to energy costs? If it comes down to driving your car or heating your house, your car will sit in the garage. Americans shouldn't even have to think twice…

Welcome;

Most of us can agree the problems that we face are huge!

We also understand that there is not a "single" one fix all.

Please take a moment and get a feel for our site.  Look in the banner area for links to a host of info.

Please watch the welcome Video. Click on your state from the home page to be linked to your rgnl leader. You can also find members in your area.

We must use caution as we move forward: we cannot afford to sit idle any longer.
