Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
What excites you about this campaign?
I am excited because as a young man, I observe the struggles that the adult population today with energy. I don't want to see my generation and the next to have the same struggles, more so due to the fact that they way the things are now with oil, it can only get worse. That is, without change. Pickens plan is a great way to break our addiction to oil, clean up the enviroment with cleaner burning natural gas and of course wind turbines don't harm the enviroment, as well help the nations pocketbook. With low prices for gas the economy will boom with people having more money for bill, food, etc. Finally, a great way to help bring back rural america.
What do you want to do to help?
I am willing to organize and get more people involved!

Hello Travis,

I wanted to let you know that I have finally entered my plus point minus point list on the pickensplan.com site evaluation project that I recently started.

I invite you to look this project/entry over and perhaps you will have your own plus point minus point list to add to the project. The more lists that are added by the members and the more members there are adding their lists the more that there will be revealed. And the more that is revealed the more accurate we can become in adjusting this site to continually be more streamlined and more effective in its mission.

May the sun burn bright and the wind blow hard.

Gustav is keeping AR very wet today (I feel like I'm back in Oregon). And that condition has allowed me the opportunity to spend way too much time sitting at this computer most of the day stirring up trouble. Nomrally I would be somewhere else stirring up some trouble.

I agree with you and Mac both as to an incentive tax credit or however to give people stimulus to purchase clean energy cars. We would not be depriving people of their presently owned cars. We need only to have one pump per station to dispense the Hydrogen fuel so that the auto companies would have the incentive to offer those clean cars for sale. I just recd an update from the Fuel cell org which tells me of all the progress being made in that industry and its amazing. They had a fuel cell vehicle tour with cars from all the mfrs ,ours included and 2 new stations opening in Missouri and Mass. check out http://hydrogenroadtour08.dot.gov/Default.aspx

Travis, when Honda announced they were leasing 200 of those Hydro cars for Lease at 600$ per month and asked people to fill out applications to do so, they got 65,000 applications. Does that tell you something? WE Americans are ready for that change from the Internal Combustion Engine and the position our dependance on OIL has put us in.

Travis ,I respect your views and feel that you are a loyal American ,however we already have alternate vehicles that DO NOT USE OIL AVAILABLE. Please do yourself a favor and go to HONDA Motors Site and click on the FCX auto. IT uses only HYDRGEN GAS to generate Electricity ffrom a FUEL CELL and there is no pollution. They are currently being used in CALIFORNIA. THEY ARE NOT EXPERIMENTAL. All we need is for the gas stations to each have ONE Hydrogen pump in the same fashion we changed to UNLEADED GASOLINE and Honda and all the other companies can be making and selling these new autos. This would create jobs and cut the pollution immediately. T Boone can use his wind electric to produce Hydrogen from water.

Go into http://mysite.verizon.net/resvrnrf/call-to-action/index.html and you will see some things about the energy situation you may not be aware of

Travis,if I may call you that, the fault I find with Macs plans are that he is still pushing the same old crap. We should not even be considering looking for more oil. Rather we should be desparately looking how to stop using it altogether and we have the means to do so and he is aware of that. By this alone he is telling me and anyone else with a thinking mind that he is in the pockets of our mortal enemies. When we have available the means to strengthen our countries defenses, our economy and rescue all the people suffering from these terrible times, why would Mac be pushing the very ideas that have put us in this position? No! I will never accept those kinds of ideas or logic that supposedly explains it. The republicans dare not argue the issues because they are and have been wrong on all of them. All they have left is their ability to try and defame their opposition as they did with Senator Kerry by making him appear to be the villain while G.W.Bush,the one who never served became the hero. What a job of Hogwash that was. If all the auto companies have the ability to mfr Hydrogen autos ,trucks and any form of transportation we need ,then why do we have to continue bankrupting our country TO OUR ENEMIES?

I think John Macaine is a great patriot who sincerely loves his country but I cannot support his thinking for its future. Not when we have alternative means to remove us from the oil dependance. We are giving our money to the people that are trying to destroy us. Does that make sense to you ?

Hi Travis,

You are a very bright young man. I like that your point of view is broad in scope and that you are both aware and contemplative of numerous interelated causes and effects that are giving many of us such a difficult time.

Travis, would you mind elaborating on your final point in your answer to the profile survey question, "What excites you about this campaign?" You wrote, "Finally, a great way to help bring back rural america." I would like to hear more from you on that one.

May we always desire to play a better game and create a better tomorrow (for everyone!).

Thanks Travis

Imagine the influence you could have just by sharing this issue with your townspeople. Usually, if we can just get them to see the video and understand how important it is to join, they get it.

Let me know how it goes.
Best Kim

Please friend me so that we keep in touch.
Have a great day!
