- I am a Truck Driver interested in Green Technology & esspecially reducing Idle Emissions,
I have ideas myself which would hold everyone accountable but I see the first step in bridging communication to folks who are resistant to new ideas.
I like discussing it with other Truckers because they will need to adapt & I see Mr Pickens as a true leader.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- That our Country can really pull together and make this happen. It's like watching the first Railroad be completed.
I'm interested in seeing our country change directions to become more self-sufficient, this will take hard work, hard choices and pulling our head out of the sand.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I often talk about the "Pickens Plan" on Twitter & I am mentioning it on My Blog because many people have not heard about it at all.
I Share Ideas, and one I have of my own for a Stationary Unit.
I recently came in contact with a man who created a Solar APU that can be converted to Wind Energy for Truck Temperature Control.
I do this to bridge communication to make Pickens Plan more relevant to a Truckers Life.

My GREEN IDEA to reduce Truck Idle Emissions
I currently live in Texas, when I am able to get home.
Mostly, I live in my truck delivering Americas Food & Clothing.
California is where I was born & raised.
I am of a Family of Migrant Field Workers who came to California before the Freeways.
I grew up at the beaches in Venice, Oxnard, Malibu, Arcata, Trinidad, and Carlsbad as a child of the Welfare System.

Taking Action and Spreading the Word
For me, 2009 has already been a Magical Year.
People are listening and waking up for the first time in so many years.
In the 80's and 90's I worried about our youth, who would one day be caring for me in my Golden Years and how disconnected with reality they seemed to be.
Seeing how so many people from very different walks of life are coming together NOW, and saying things; UNPOPULAR things has inspired me.
Seeing young adults wanting to get involved in the future of our World, and Our Count… Continue

Truckers learning to Go Green
I wasn't always a Trucker.
I went to School late in life but didn't quite make it through my classes at University of Las Vegas where I was majoring in International Business/Accounting.
I was happy though that my unfortunate turn of life events brought me to Trucking.
Now, I want to bring some of my other skills to help bridge communication.
I believe Green Innovations will save our Country & the World.
