- I know that each and everyone of us have the duty to prepare the future for our kids and grandchildren. Several months ago with my interest in alternative energy, I decided to create a Facebook group called “Inno4Green Initiative”. My goal for this group is to establish a bellwether to test the global IQ on alternative energy and global concerns on the changing earth climate. Inno4Green Initiative will not only focus on how to help on issues regarding global warming, development and innovations on alternative energy and green construction; but also will help influence leaders on governmental policies, and guidelines on technology transfer for sustainable development.
Now that I am involved with the Pickens Plan, I will be posting the status of the plan with this group.
This Facebook group was created in response to the Gore Challenge. The goal for this group is to establish a bellwether to test the global IQ on alternative energy and global concerns on the changing earth climate. Inno4Green Initiative will not only focus on how to help on issues regarding global warming, development and innovations on alternative energy and green construction; but also will help influence leaders on governmental policies, and guidelines on technology transfer for sustainable development. As an extension to the goal of Inno4Green Initiative, I am fortunate to be involved with the Pickens Plan. I remember I have been called so many names when I supported Barack Obama for President, Now that he is in place as the 44th President of the United States of America, I will be devoting my spare time with green energy projects such as the Pickens Plan. Believe it or not, the same group of people who called me names, derogatory words that I will not waste my time mentioning in any given occasion-just tagged me as a pawn to a rich man’s game. All I can say is that I know when it is time to step up to the plate and do the right thing. We have until 2020 and do whatever it takes to answer the Gore Challenge. In 2020, my daughter will be 16-years old, Boone will be at least 91-years old, and I hope at that time we already have the power grid that will not only put more greens in our pockets but also reaching our goal to at least more than 50% reduction in emissions making this Earth of ours a greener planet. For now, just think about the short term gain of any green energy projects-new genre of jobs that cannot be outsourced, green jobs that will eventually heal our ailing economy.

- What excites you about this campaign?
- Confucius once said- “Wheresoever you go, go with all your heart.” Answering the call that will benefit not the few but the many is where my heart will always rest. Now that I am one of the Congressional District Leaders (Dallas TX-32 At-Large) at T. Boone Pickens Plan, I will utilize this platform to help the call of President Barack Obama to Renew America. The short term economic gain that the Pickens Plan could give to the country, by bringing new genre of jobs will give us a push to create a better future for our children. The long term gain of the plan is a new green stable foundation not only for the State of Texas and our country, but also to the rest of the world.
Now is precisely the time to seize the initiative and launch a "global revolution". I believe that Pickens Plan is one of the few “Green New Deal” that would rebuild and reshape the economy of planet Earth in ways reminiscent of the programs that President Franklin Roosevelt used to revitalize the economy of the United States during the Great Depression.

Fred Mars said… - So basically what you propose is that it is better to pay for gas than it is for oil and so long as our electricity is generated by large wind farms and solar farms, it is better for the environment, so it will be justifiable to pay through the nose for it?
I have a better idea. Instead of putting huge wind farms up, and rebuilding the grid so the power companies once again get their grid built with taxpayer money, only to sell energy to us with the addition of the surcharges to absorb the costs of clean energy, place solar panels and small turbines on every roof in America. Install the Solar Roadway that Scot Brusaw developed which will eliminate the overhead power lines, poles and towers, and empower every American to be producers of energy and not just consumers.
