- The Pickens Plan is a great way to reduce our quickly growing and expensive dependency on foreign oil and replace it with abundant reserves of natural gas within our reach at home. We need to grow the use of natural gas in transportation (it is cheaper than gasoline and cleaner than petroleum or coal). Additionally, we can use wind to replace natural gas in generating electricity for non-transportation purposes. All of this will create jobs here at home, save us trillions of dollars in the next ten years alone and strengthen the geopolitical position of our country rather than weaken it through growing foreign oil dependency.

Thanks for your message. Please post or email anytime. Pennsylvania has many new energy programs for homes and businesses. The state is receiving new federal funds. It is very satisfying to advocate such programs that will change America for the better! Also, they are planning to drill for natural gas in Pennsylvania.
I am hoping for the very safest Belmont Race 2009. Eight Belles is such a sad story and one of the top reasons, IMO, that Rachel Alexandra's owners are being careful. I do not think they want to be the owners of the sequel to the story of Eight Belles. I live near the New Bolton Equine Center of the University of Pennsylvania and the Devon Horse Show Fairgrounds of Devon, Pennsylvania. Dogs and horses are like family members to many Philadelphia and Philly suburban families.
We also have a new shelter animal awareness programs due to the Michael Vick criminal case. I would like to see more change in this area. Governor and Mrs. Rendell adopted a Golden Retriever puppy mill dog. There are organizations advocating changes to protect animals within the Commonwealth statutes.
If there is a Pennsylvania Energy program that interests you, please post a comment or email. Pennsylvania wants to investigate many forms of alternative energy. The New Yorkers can change New York if they follow the voters' of Pennsylvania's example!
