What excites you about this campaign?: The Pickens Plan is a great way to reduce our quickly growing and expensive dependency on foreign oil and replace it with abundant reserves of natural gas within our reach at home. We need to grow the use of natural gas in transportation (it is cheaper than gasoline and cleaner than petroleum or coal). Additionally, we can use wind to replace natural gas in generating electricity for non-transportation purposes. All of this will create jobs here at home, save us trillions of dollars in the next ten years alone and strengthen the geopolitical position of our country rather than weaken it through growing foreign oil dependency.
