show on OCT 5 2009 here at the Staples World Headquarters 500 Staples Drive, Framingham MA 01702 to show how the PickensPlan can work NOW.
I will be doing Show and Drive with my CNG Bi-Fuel VW Beetle and a CNG Bi-Fuel 2002 1.8L turbo Jetta and have a Home Fueling Station on hand. The space in side cost for a table was a little to high for me I am doing this all out of pocket.
So any help would be great.

I left a message on your phone today. I think it desirable for us to have a discussion in order to coordinate activities. I have been the UMass organizer for the National Teach-In on Global Warming on Feb. 5 and of a discussion of about 15 people with Congressman Olver on Feb.9. I have videos of some of these occasions, some of which can be seen on You Tube. The references are:
A Message to Congress:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnvaWo6aW2s
Introduction to the group meeting with Olver:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwzW7XiYV2w
I am also going to join the local MoveOn group in a visit to Olver at his Holyoke office on Mar. 2. Also, we submitted on Fev 2, a proposal to the Sun Grant Initiative involving a cooperative effort od agricultural members of the UMass faculty with the New England Small Farm Institute in Belchertown for producing biochar as an aid to agriculture and for reducing atmospheric CO2 content.
Please be in touch, either by e-mail at or phone at 413-549-0245.
I appreciate all of your efforts on the PP CU site as it supports all that SEE is about. I also want to welcome you to visit our Global SEE site at << http://seadog8278.ning.com >>, which is capable of reaching people interested in SEE beyond the PP. I would appreciate hearing about what you think of that site?
We also have a CU group at that site and would very much like to see you participating there as well.
Sincerely,
Thomas

Hi Valerie
THank you for the nice note. Hope you can come. Call me anytime - 401.245.6217 - I am out of town until Thursday. Help would be great. Need a few folks to bring some sodas. I will bring cups and treats. The biggest help would be to get a few folks in the car with you. We need the press to see that this is an important issue to all.
I want to personally thank you for joining the SEE effort here on the PP. We have many mutual friends including Luane Todd, ML Hayes, and Eddie Angel
We are now expanding SEE to be able to grow a membership beyond the Picken’s Plan. Please come visit us at the Global SEE and invite your PP and personal friends to also visit.
Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
PROFESSIONALLY:
I am in the credit union industry, and have been involved, through my position in getting our credit union to be come a HEAT loan participant that is available through MassSave.com. To find out how you can get this energy home loan go to the MassSave link or to CPCU.org.
Since coming to the credit union, we have rolled our three energy loan products, for which we are very proud.
PERSONALLY:
I have just completed a heating conversion in my home, from oil to gas, with a the ability to add solar panels to the system.
I have been been working with the Massachusetts Center of Ecological Technologies http://www.cetonline.org/ thru the process.
I have been gathering quotes on photovoltaic and hot water panels, and looking and all the possible sources of funding, rebates and tax incentives.
I get a weekly email from the Massachusetts Renewable Energy Trust, to keep up with events here in the Commonwealth.
I buy local, organic, recycle, compost, and want to purchase a bicycle driven three wheeler lawn mower : )
What excites you about this campaign?
Having traveled abroad, it seems we have a way to go here in the USA, in terms of conservation. I would like to see if a "national push" for less dependency on oil, whereby we can get car makers, and manufacturers of other oil driven products, to redesign or eliminate wasteful products and services that fill up our landfills and increase our carbon footprint.
If enough of us persuade our children, parents, friends, and government of the need to change, then change will come.
What do you want to do to help?
I am happy to use my marketing capabilities to promote the cause. And I believe our district members are way ahead of the curve, in understanding the need for alternative energy. I look forward to learning about each persons' experience and view on moving us forward.
