Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

I have made a thermosyphon to help heat our pool, purchased a high-tech solar heating blanket for same. Now, I'm in the process of obtaining a zoning variance for a vertical axis wind turbine for our home. Also, I share information about green energy technology with our small city.

What excites you about this campaign?

I like the fact that Mr. Pickens is trying to organize the citizenry for speedy change to reduce oil dependence. Our government is broken, so it will take all of us working together to make energy changes. Mr. Pickens can make money on the project if he wants too; after all, we're capitalists. On the downside, this is a college town, so it may be difficult to gain support for the project due Mr. Pickens' involvement in the Swiftboat incident. There will be mistrust.

What do you want to do to help?

Letters to our newspaper, speak about the project to local groups, solicit new members

Thank you so much for the beautiful rose. As it happens, I love gardening as well as the whimsy on your web pages. You're the one who makes me laugh and it's nice to have some fun while we work for passage of HR 1835.

I hope you will follow Ohio's activity now. We have some leverage going as one of our Representatives, Congressman Tim Ryan is sending a dear colleague letter from him and the other five reps to the 12 congressional reps who have not signed on as cosponsors. Hopefully, our Pickens Plan members will push from "the outside" as Ohio's six cosponsors push from inside the delegation. We'll need all the effort and luck we can muster.

Please advise all members we must pass HR 1835 Natual Gas bill so we can then go to alteratives such as wind, solar, and other, Spoke with Boon Pickens today on national talk
radio. The Natual gas bill and concept is very much needed in our country to free ourself from imports from unfriendly countries, thus for national security reasons, I believe in Boones plans and reason,I know there issues of concern about the safety of effects of methods of the drilling factors which are being improved to protect our water tables, also
as being a long time member of the Sierra Club we endorce Boons plan,the bottom line
is you must pitch this concept to your members, we can not proceed with the other
alternatives till this bill is passed your friend Jeffrey Paganini PS I would suggest a follow
