- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- I have been a truck and equipment mechanic for 15 years. I have worked on CNG Forklifts and other medium duty CNG equipment. I am currently working as a wrecker driver , and am doing research ( on my own) into Browns gas ( HHO) and Biodiesel for my own vehicles.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- Oil is obviously a finite energy supply and we HAVE TO find more renewable sources. my understanding is that about 90% of the cars in Brazil are running on Ethanol made from the trash leftover from processing thier sugar. they are pretty much a 3rd world country and they are ahead of us on alternative fuels!!! thats just absurd. and I also understand that the power grid in France is approximately 80% nuclear.
why are we so far behind when 30 years ago we were the leader in technology? dependence on a foriegn nation is a serious threat to our national security and our way of life. America should be as independant as possible.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I want my voice to be heard. and I dont want it to be a solo voice that is easily ignored.

NO SOLO VOICES HERE.... help us build the army.... we have such good momentum!
After you get your friends to join the site, and send your letters off to Congress....I hope you will work to join the "100CLUB"... for members that have faxed in 100 or more signed pledges.
PLEDGES are the vehicle that can drive our numbers, we need to use them! It is a very easy ask- Boone has done the hard work. All we need to do is hitch our wagon to his horse and plow to the finish. I have sent in 300+ so far. We have 48 friends, that I know of, who are working on the challenge. By the end of the week that will be 5,000 new supporters of this plan- 4 times the number that joined the plan online this week.... with just 49 people!
IMAGINE what we could do if everyone that said they would do
anything they could to get this done, joined the "100CLUB"
It comes down to.... DO WE HAVE THE FORTITUDE? I hope so. We aren't asking folks to take up arms. But this IS our revolution. And we have a very small window to get it done. Would like your help.

EMAIL A LETTER TO YOUR REPRESENTATIVES -
This is urgent, because the Energy Bill in Congress is in danger of not passing! We are blessed that the creators of this site have given us the ability, with little effort, to send a letter to our Representatives in Washington and Governor, too.
Go to THE PLEDGE (at the very top of this page on the blue header) On the top of the pledge page there are three rectangular buttons- two blue ones and ONE RED BUTTON, that reads "CONTACT CONGRESS" . Fill in the short, standard form. Done!
You CAN ALSO HELP BY BRINGING 5 FOLKS TO JOIN the site today, so that we can build a voice big enough that Congress will finally have to listen to us, instead of the lobbyists and special interests, who will certainly try to derail this historic effort.
YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE PLEDGE on the main page. Print out 10 or more of them, get them signed and fax them back ASAP. When we are millions strong, we can achieve this.
THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
…to wait and see…or to see if someone else will step up to the plate. It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONS
We need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan.
A GROUP FOR EVERYONE Check out the many groups for Solar, CNG, your area, etc. Connect, learn and share. We grow stronger with your input. If you don't see a group that speaks to your interest, then start a group of your own.
