- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- Read reports of cost of wind power in Pennsylvania. Worked with photovoltaic cells for direct conversion of solar power. Have designed a low pressure steam engine that runs on recycled calcium carbide, a byproduct of steel manufacture. This engine produces no carbon dioxide but pure carbon, which can be cleaned off and used for other purposes.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- The most exciting thing about this campaign is watching to see how Mr. Pickens and his troops overthrow the environmentalists and run vehicles on natural gas since they will accept no product of combustion except water vapor. The use of natural gas as a vehicle fuel as I have some wells.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I am no T. Boone Pickens but I can write letters to the editor to try and get the word out. If Mr. Pickens gets the environmentalists to accept carbon as a product of combustion, I would finish the prototype calcium carbide engine.
