- I have toured ethanol plant,and also have been to wind turbine facility. I see the possiblity of alternate fuel and energy. I also have toured a clean nuclear plant.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- It is a common sense approach to getting off dependance from foreign oil.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I am democratic candidate for Illinois State Representative District 89. Alternative energy is one of my main issues. There is some much we can do to save energy and use energy more productive for us in the United States.

We can not let this narrowing window of opportunity slip by. When will we ever get a chance like this to really effect change again? I hope you can help. I was able to get 300+ in the first 4 days. It is an easy ask - Boone has done the hard work. Everyone wants to get off of foreign oil. We are creating a paradigm shift- a completely new way of thinking - about energy in this country. We need more support. ARE YOU IN?

You can get started by going to the MAIN page. Once there, choose THE PLEDGE. Also peruse the page, there several good tools there. Choose the RED BOX titled “CONTACT CONGRESS”. With little effort, we can send letters to our Senators, Representatives and Governors. Fill in the form & you’re done! This is urgent; the Energy Bill before Congress is in danger of not passing! It will eliminate renewable tax credits, a crucial element for sector expansion.
There is a tremendous amount of information here. Many groups; choose by genre/state or create your own. Post comments. Participate in discussions. Ask questions. All opinions/information are welcome. Check out EVENTS there may be an activity in your area, or set one up yourself. Most importantly, share PickensPlan.com with others. Bring as many as you can – we need everyone!
