Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

We have a complex in New Zealand that is owned by my family and all the electricity is run by wind and solar. We have also studied and researched the use of water turbine power because of the running stream on the property high up above our adobe dwellings. The dwellings also have grass roofs and composting toilets and wood burning stoves for heat.

What excites you about this campaign?

Maybe finally we will wake up in this country to saving the planet instead of driving these big gas hogs, air conditioning huge houses with three stories and 20 bedrooms and no one in them, leaving all the lights on in Vegas 24/7, and not recycling all our paper and cardboard and cans and glass.

What do you want to do to help?

I think this plan you have started is a good one and I would like to point as many people in your direction that I can. I can call people, I can talk to them outside the grocery store, I can send my freinds emails. What else can I do, give me some suggestions?

Our efforts may broaden in the future but until we reach our immediate goals we will keep our focus on these goals.
