Profile Information

Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
Engineer and project manager for developing new technology. I am currently working in Iraq for Manufacturing re-Construction and industrial upgrades to factories in the country. I also attended the alternative energy expo in Abu Dhabi in January 2009 to meet with vendors and learn of economically sound projects in the Middle East, they are very few and far between.
What excites you about this campaign?
private capital outside of government regulations..establishing investment groups and also professional installation of solar systems on residentail and commercial properties in conjunction with roofing improvements, etc.
---------------------------------
On the other hand: I am not interested in tree hugging crackpot liberals who wish to damage our nation by restricting the economy from any form of real growth through innovation. I plant plenty of trees and I also cut them down for firewood whenever I like.. I enjoy splitting it and burning it to heat my home rather than buy lots of natural gas. It is not about saving "carbon dioxide", it is about saving money and using those savings wisely to grow the nation's wealth and strength. If you want to reduce carbon dioxide in the air, just place a thick plastic bag over your head for 6 minutes and you will have done the world a favor, See my point?
What do you want to do to help?
it depends...mostly manufacturing and logistics engineering. I have an interest in renovating commercial properties in large Metro Areas with solar systems to enhance their utility and produce power on an established grid..property that is above the leaf / pinestraw line and also large buildings with no trees present to interfere like shopping centers...etc.

Just one man's opinion....but

As I see it the key to this is private investment and individual property owners using their assets in the free market. Most oil and gas in the US is now on government owned land both on shore and off. A few areas like the Bakken oilfields are still on private propoerty so this is good. Wind and solar can be generated on private proprty and sold in the market. If the Nancy Pelosis and Barack Obamas of the world are allowed to regulate this effort, then it is all for naught. Keep the government o… Continue

I am not related to Judge Rusty Carlisle in Marietta, GA. I am aquainted with him. We met during our college years at the University of Georgia way back in 1968-72.

None. Sorry to not be of any informational assistance. My practice, by design, is metro-Atlanta/north Georgia and commercial.

Here is another interesting release I just got:

HOLLISTON,MA — After touring a local start-up company that sells solar, wind and geothermal energy products, an area congressman called for an end to U.S. oil subsidies and stronger support for renewable fuels.

"We need to make this new technology as cheap as possible so people can take advantage of it," U.S. Rep. James McGovern said yesterday while visiting Winsupply, a small Holliston distributor of clean energy systems.

Winsupply, which opened on Everett Street in June, is easily spotted by the only wind turbine in town spinning overhead. Entrepreneurs who started the business said demand is rapidly growing for their products, which also can harness solar power for electricity and hot water, as well as geothermal power.

Hello Bill, Hope you are doing well. I agree with some of your observations about various folks who are sometimes sending me strange emails. . . I have to be careful. However, most folks seem to be of good character, hardworking, and wholesome.

Yes, my presumption about the love traveling the miles was merely an effort to be kind. I understand. It must be hard over there. If this gives you any comfort, as you can see from the news, the recession has really hit hard in the U.S. I've been tied up with projects. But, look forward to hopefully making a difference together with alliances who understand the need for renewable energy.

Best Regards,
Susan
