I am self-employed and I work full time telecommuting, I retired from Teaching and coaching in 1999. In my educational career I taught Physics and developed high school technology labs with more than 24 different instructional workstations that inspired both invention and inspiration. Many of these TechLab workstations involved energy transformation to movements and the measurements to determine a design's efficiency. One of the workstations evaluated solar cell design and measured productivity. When I lived in Arizona I was consumed with the potential of Solar power conversion and reusable battery systems. Now that I am in the Northeast U.S. I am most concerned with (1) Home Wind power generators reusable battery systems, (2) Home systems for water reclamation and rain water collection and (3) Food Bank Gardens. I established several community websites; the newest one is foodbankgarderns.com.

What excites you about this campaign?

In order to INVOLVE someone else in your opinion or product you must use one or more of the three basic emotions; Fear, Love and Ego. For me, I define "excite" as fear.

What do I fear? I fear the redistribution of the world's wealth and the threat it represents to America. Our economy needs millions of AMERICAN JOBS directed toward (1) the production of renewable energy (2) repair and updating our national power grid (3) environmental repairs and precautions required for our survival (4) a national health care plan.

Like Picken's says, "Do the math !" The money flowing out of our country for foreign oil was the cause of our demise. But what really tipped the scales was the amount of outsourced jobs during the final three years of the previous administration. Specifically, three(3) million jobs each year. Three(3) million jobs multiplied by three(3) years multiplied by the average American family's annual income equals more than 700 billion dollars; the same amount as the first economic recovery plan..

I fear that the effects Global Warming will not allow survival of the world's natural resources of land, air, sea and animal life, as I know it today, will not exist for my grandchildren. But my greatest fear is represented in two words, "irreversible damage" when it comes to our environment.

What do you want to do to help?

I hope to promote community knowledge, design and installation of home wind turbines and passive solar lighting systems in our community. Start in the local High School, publicize their efforts and student studies, then install wind turbines on homes in our community. Currently there isn't one wind turbine installed in our entire city. I believe country will have the necessary support and success when we start seeing the visual images of either wind turbines, solar panels or passive lighting systems in many of today's homes.
