What excites you about this campaign?
it is crucial to break our independence from oil, both foreign (for political reasons) and domestic (for environmental reasons) and a necessity if we are going to stop global warming and hang on to the resources we have left and save the planet
What do you want to do to help?

Now, to put , 30 million people back to work , the United States will have to work with the China Solar Energy Companys, which I have been talking to for the past two years. Put the Americans back to work with the China Solar Energy Company's and the Uniuted States Solar Energy Companys. If you only new have awesome, the China solar energy really is you would be amazed. There technology is so advanced you would be shocked. Now you know Amy.

Kind Regards,

Nebraska Law Opens up Wind Market
Wind Energy: Nebraska ranks third among states in wind energy potential, but it is only 22nd in actual wind-energy production. In order to capitalize on this resource and create new jobs, LB1048 was enacted to attract wind-energy production by allowing the Nebraska Power Review Board to approve private renewable energy projects that export most of their energy out-of-state. The bill also exempts wind turbines from personal property tax and institutes a nameplate capacity tax, the revenues from which will be directed to local taxing entities that previously levied personal property taxes on the turbines. And it requires private companies to pay the extensive costs of building transmission lines to export the power. Officials said that this requirement will protect the state’s cheap electric rates from rising. Effective July 15, LB1048’s goal is to have Nebraska among the 10th top states for wind-power generation. The Nebraska Sierra Club placed this law on the top of its legislative priorities for 2010, and was quite involved as it moved through the legislature.

FINALLY some good news and it is not a lot but as with everything after the "crash of 2007 "
it IS a start to something VERY GOOD. The growing oil spill in the Gulf SHOULD serve as a
timely reminder that we need to seize the day and really get Green Energy going, wind, solar, etc

New Green business = JOBS and that is something that everyone can agree on regardless
of political persuasion, I hope.

Lets focus on this and BUILD on it...and try to keep growing the plan

If you have not joined PP on Facebook, please do and if your state does not have a group yet
please consider starting one and send us all the link so we can join you there...

have a great day

Apparently there are technical/communication issues with Ning who handles this site and it is being suggested that we all cross over to Facebook and join our respective groups there....I created a Florida District 20 group awhile ago but there aren't that many others which is going to take some work. Hope to see you all there at some point. Even if you dont join, stop by and leave a message every once in awhile so we can keep in touch.... Amy
