I am a retired pharmacist,married to a Thai and we travel to Thailand yearly to vist family and her invalid mother.When we get a taksie we have a hard time with the tank in the trunk.My wife said they run on natural gas. One of the luggage is set on the seat next to the driver.Later we rented a van.He stoped at a gas station and i saw a big sign LPG.He started to put the gas into the van.One hose on the motor and the other in the back i guess on the tank.The gas meter was recorded on the pump just like we were getting gas back home My wife said they can not convert trucks and sales are down.I called the toyota garage about a hybrid. He said hybrids only in America.This concludes my story on gas.

What excites you about this campaign?

It is honest,truthful and would help our country immediately and solve all this political talk.

What do you want to do to help?

Spred the word which i have allready done by telling this storey to my dentist and urologist because they asked me what Thailand is doing with the high fuel price.

If we can not get critical numbers how can we take advantage of this golden opportunity? High gas prices have "woken up" America to our plight and a paradigm shift like not other is in the wind. We need to do this now.

So many new members write "I want to help, what can I do?" This is a start. We may not get to the next step if we can not get this one done. Our leaders can not ignore millions of members of the Pickens Plan. We are not there yet. .

I have put a sign in my car window that reads...
" 700 BILLION IN FOREIGN OIL ANNUALLY. STOP THE LARGEST TRANSFER OF WEALTH IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND.....TO OUR ENEMIES. JOIN www.pickensplan.com."

I have run a small, inexpensive advertisement on the headlines page of our local online newspaper that gets 3 million hits per month with the same message. I have small business card size notes that I can give to friends with the same message. It's grass roots, but that is what this is going to take.

If you have a connection to the press- get them to cover this.
If you know someone who blogs- get them to cover this.
If you can write a letter to your Representative or Senator- get them to see this.
We added close to 4,000 members yesterday.... it should be 10 times that!
