Profile Information

Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?
Yes
Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
Have long studied geothermal condsiderations, viewed wind power in san bernardino county and can help organize researchers from different backgrounds. Independent tech knowledge of my own at doctorial level.
What excites you about this campaign?
All alternatives to imported energy seem to be discussed here at pickens, some more than others which may work even better, including geothermal and ocean current technology. A gathering of experts without poliicat consideration; mainly putting a stop to energy money bankrupting the country
What do you want to do to help?
Organize ALL alternatives, INCLUDING (we cannot progress if we cannot physically move persons and goods at practical and reasonable prices) a modern mass transportation system and shared energy concerns. No way the average american can help energy/dollar crisis except by organizing common needs and sharing.

Hi:
My name is Jerry McDonald and I am the Montana Congressional district leader for the Pickens Plan. Is there anything I can do to help you get started?

DP,
Welcome to the Pickens Plan. And thank you for the comment, earlier. Yes, some "organization" is needed, in my opinion. But, as I have been cautioned by others, not of the type which would stifle innovation in this "new media" way of getting things done. The formation of "Support Groups" (at a national level), to provide resources to local groups, might be a model for organization which could suffice - at least initially.

I am not formally involved with the Pickens Plan folks, just lending my thoughts, at the present. And trying to decide which "Support Group" of the several I've identified I might desire to focus my energies on, if such groups are to be formed.

Keep up the thoughts and comments. Ron
