Being conscious and responsible for my energy usage – turn off the lights and I can get 30mpg by driving smarter, getting up earlier and taking the train and on – these add up!

What excites you about this campaign?

We need to get moving or one day $8 gas won't matter if it's not there. If we put the ideas and the energy of the negative comments to work I think we can power a few cars and houses. Where is our government leadership??

What do you want to do to help?

Getting the word out - communications.

The stars have aligned to create the possibility of a paradigm shift that is and has been urgently needed. We have an angry citizenry due to pain at the pump, a presidential election on the horizon, and a man with a plan to dramatically and imminently reduce our dependance on foreign oil, who has the resources, contacts and connections, knowledge and "will" to get it done.

Please share this plan with your circle of friends, family and associates. Unrge them to JOIN. As you know, it is simply like signing a petition. With large numbers of supporters, we can put pressure to bear on Congress to incentivize alternative and renewable energies, and insure that our future president will be a leader that will push for domestic energy solutions. JFK once said. "in the next 10 years we will put a man on the moon". He got it done. We need that kind of leadership on energy.

Time is of the essence. If gas prices retreat the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost. How frightening to be looking back and apologizing to our children that we could not get this done when we had the chance.

Lots of money involved there. I think to myself that whoever or whomever manages to crack this nut of providing economically viable individual transportation for the masses, could become very wealthy. I think a little further about the stupid trinkety things I see advertised on television, and how the items for sale can be yours for X number of dollars, "plus shipping and handling." I think the sale of the trinkets is a ruse. The trinkets are probably offered by a shipping company that makes their money from shipping the trinkets. It's a vey effective approach. I even saw Billy Mays on a commercial the other day saying "If you order now, we'll send you a second product X for no extra charge. Just pay separate shipping and handling." That's the latest approach. Now they can get buyers to double-up on the shipping and handling, after all, the shipping and handling doesn't really figure in to the purchase price, right? I have no proof that this is actually the case, I just think that if it walks like a duck and it quacks like a duck and it swims like a duck, it's probably a duck. They don't really want to sell you the trinkets, just the $8.00 dollars shipping and handling. With this concept in mind, let us now revisit the aforementioned auto and fuel thing. What if Honda or Toyota, or hell, why not an American auto manufacturer, what if they didn't make their money selling cars, but rather the fuel that the cars run off of. The sale of the car is a ruse. The auto manufacturers would actually be in the energy business. All the vehicles could be fitted with navigation devices like Tom Tom or Garmin that would be programmed to provide fuel location information to individual drivers. If one needed to fill up with windmill or solar generated hydrogen, one would have only to consult his or her navigation device to find the nearest fueling station. That way, even if stations were a little scarce at first, drivers would still be able to find them easily. Comments?
