- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- I am looking for funding for a natural gas drilling co. They have been listed on the stock exchange since 1979. It is an established company that drills for natural gas in the West Virginia and they supply natural gas to the north east. They are looking to drill 150 wells and they are offering units for $27,000 which pays a 10% annual dividend monthly. It also offers a 95% tax write off for 2008 and 15 % tax deductions for the following years of the investment. Instead of issuing more stock and costing their stock holders money they are looking for private equity. THIS OFFER ENDS IN OCTOBER 2008 AND IS FOR ACCREDITED INVESTORS ONLY.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- There are better ways to utilize our resources and live in a cleaner environment. There is no need to rely on third world countries it's the 21st century and we have the technology to run the U.S. more efficiently. We can live with nature instead of being a burden on the planet. We have the ability to use natural, renewable energy sources that are less damaging, but capitalism as chosen a path for what makes money not sense. Funny what we consider valuable. We find sport player to be valuable because they give us entertainment, and yet we do nothing to keep the water clean, to create natural energy, and to clean the environment. The air we have to breathe for life on a daily basis is not more valuable than selling a car that pollutes. We buy bottles of water and through them away. 70.8% of the earth is water. With distillation and desalination we can provide clean water from the dirtiest source and send it through the pipes for clean water at the tap. Oceans are another great source of natural energy. Etcetera …. Etcetera…. Etcetera….

This is urgent, because the Energy Bill in Congress is in danger of not passing! We are blessed that the creators of this site have given us the ability, with little effort, to send a letter to our Representatives in Washington and Governor, too.
Go to THE PLEDGE (at the very top of this page on the blue header) On the top of the pledge page there are three rectangular buttons- two blue ones and ONE RED BUTTON, that reads "CONTACT CONGRESS" . Fill in the short, standard form. Done!
You CAN ALSO HELP BY BRINGING 5 FOLKS TO JOIN the site today, so that we can build a voice big enough that Congress will finally have to listen to us, instead of the lobbyists and special interests, who will certainly try to derail this historic effort.
YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE PLEDGE on the main page. Print out 10 or more of them, get them signed and fax them back ASAP. When we are millions strong, we can achieve this.
THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
…to wait and see…or to see if someone else will step up to the plate. It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost.

PERSONAL ACTION OPTIONS
We need to do more than “preach to the choir”. Sharing ideas with each other is encouraging but that will not 1) increase our membership nor 2) influence public policy. If you know someone in the press or someone who blogs - get them to cover this. Ask those in the public eye to support this plan.
A GROUP FOR EVERYONE Check out the many groups for Solar, CNG, your area, etc. Connect, learn and share. We grow stronger with your input. If you don't see a group that speaks to your interest, then start a group of your own.
