- Energy independence is the number one national security issue.What is not observed by many ,that u.s. haters such as Bin Landin thrive on our nergy dependence in middle east.Once that dependence is gone the guy will loose his relevance in the muslim minds and will no loner be able to have any impact wahtsoever.
