Are you interested in becoming an organizer in your area?

Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:

My husband has always been interested in wind energy. In 1980 he tried to get investors interested in wind generation and a wind farm in Ca.

What excites you about this campaign?

Keeping more dollars in the US. It is called economics 101, send money out of your community and it won't get recycled back to you in your communtiy.

What do you want to do to help?

I can do just about anything. I multi task very well, run my own small business, and my husband of 38 years and I have raised 7 great kids.

If you live on the side of Fresno that falls in Congressional district 20 (CA-20), I am looking for someone to step up and become a district leader . Welcome to the Pickens plan.

We all share the same goal; to rid ourselves of foreign oil and clean up our environment for our children and grandchildren. Wind energy is a viable alternative. Some of us have a different ideas of what we can do for immediate relief.

Join some groups and get involved. We can all learn and find ways to help this cause.

Check out our group "Live Carbon Free" and see how we are promoting conservation and environmental stewardship as the bridge to future energy developments. Regardless of what we do, it will take some time to implement on a significant scale. For immediate results we can make a huge difference by conserving what we have.

The stars have aligned to create the possibility of a paradigm shift that is and has been urgently needed. We have an angry citizenry due to “pain at the pump”; a presidential election on the horizon, a man with a plan to dramatically and imminently reduce our dependence on foreign oil, while providing a bridge to future solutions who has the resources, contacts, knowledge and wealth to (with our help) bring us closer to our goals.

Please share this plan with your circle of friends, family and associates. Urge them to JOIN, as it is simple and free.

With large numbers of supporters, we can put pressure on Congress to incentivize alternative and renewable energies, and ensure that our future President will be a leader that will push for domestic energy solutions.

Time is of the essence. If gas prices retreat by only pennies the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost. How frightening to be looking back and apologizing to our children that we could not get this done when we had the chance.

If you can write to a Congressman/woman, please do so as soon as possible or you can call them 202.225.3121. Ask them if they support 100% clean electricity in the next 10 years.

If you can write a letter to the editor of your local paper- please do so.
If you want to print downloadable flyers and put them in your car and/or business window- please do.
