Hi Kitty!
I hope you are still here! We really need to band together now. Here is how you can help.
Our new Congress is sworn in less than 10 days from now - they must be told loud and clear that we demand their action to reduce our dependance on foreign oil! The threat of political suicide, if they do not, is the only language of action.
WE CAN DO THIS. We need your help. THERE IS NO INFLUENCE WITHOUT NUMBERS!
Please let me know how it goes. If you get 100 we would be honored to have you in the 100CLUB! It is easy, Boone has done the hard work. EVERYONE wants to get off foreign oil - we just need to gther their names!

Hi Kitty!
I am hosting a RI renewables Meet Up, Thursday morning fo a one hour coffee strategy session in Providence. Can you join us?
In the meantime, would you please download 10 pledges, get them signed and fax them to the 888# on the bottom of the pledge. It is an easy ask - Boone has done the hard work. We have over 500 RI members. 10 pledges each gets us 5,000 more RI'ers. I look forward to working with you.
Our RI forefathers were the ones who held up the process and demanded democracy hundreds of years ago. We have a long history of being the leaders on important issues. WE CAN DO THIS!
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best,
Kim

Hi Kitty
Glad to have you here.
I am a lifelong Rhode Islander. I am working with the Pickens Plan folks to help with the "Pickens U" - college campaign. Do you know of someone in Rhode Island, at one of the colleges or universities here, that would want to get involved with supporting the Pickens Plan, and help us get off foreign oil, and on to American alternative and renewable energy sources! Now more than ever most folks realize the urgency of keeping that 700 billion a year here in our economy!
We have direct support from the top. This would be outstanding on a resume and be very fulfilling work for the right person.
Best Personal Regards
Kim Anderson

THANK YOU, KIM
Rooftop wind can be highly productive when the turbines are sited correctly. Coastal and large cleared areas with good wind are ideal locations for these turbines. They mount directly to the side or roof of a building, eliminating the tower associated with most small wind systems. Eliminating the tower also eliminates permitting headaches, construction costs, and public backlash. The rotor is 82 inches in diameter and the mast is 16.5 feet of Schedule 80 marine grade aluminum. Mounting it to the side of a building, with 3' of clearance between the roof and the rotor, adds approximately 10' to the height of the structure. Rated for a category 3 hurricane, they have a top wind speed of 55 mph, at which time they turn sideways and feather until the wind speed returns to 55mph or less and they resume generating. Multiple units can be installed with 22 feet of clearance between turbines. Installations in Massachusetts include Christy's Markets. Cape Cod Hospital is in negotiations to purchase at least 25.
can you tell memore about rooftop wind.
