What excites you about this campaign?

The idea of using "nature's clean energy", wind, solar, natural gas that is not endangering our planet and atmosphere is a subject I have felt strongly about for a long time and we have these resources right here in our own backyards. I feel new housing, in states that have sunshine the majority of the year, should all be required to have solar panels on their roofs for hot water and heating. Granted, solar is quite expensive presently for the average homeowner, but if there were more government incentives and subsidies to make it less expensive more and more people would not hesitate to use solar for their homes.

To free us up from dependancy on foreign oil would be a great economical step forward. Look how quickly people tightened up their pocketbooks when the price of oil went so high!

I strongly feel people need to have their consciencness raised and need to be educated about what a peril our country is in at present with oil supplies having reached
its "peak" and the "climate change" effect on our planet!
We have passed the "danger zone" with oil as our major source of energy and the time is urgent to do something now!

What do you want to do to help?

Have community meetings to discuss Pickens Plan and what we can do to get our legislaters marching along with us. I would like to motivate people and encourage them to get involved with what I consider to be a energy crisis.

To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide tax incentives for the production of renewable energy and energy conservation.
