- Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
- i have no real experience. I am building a house right now and I have been taken back about how expensive going the intelligent route is in this area. I live on the north side of a mountain so I do not have direct southern exposure, I am hopeful to find alternate avenues that are less expensive and that I am capable of in my current location.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- i am glad to see someone out there actively working for a change and not just for self gain. i am interested and want to learn ways to take care of our earth. I am tired of the population of this country being jerked around by big business. I don't like seeing my parents, family, friends and total strangers worrying about how they are going to get to work if they don't have enough money for gas; not planning for visits with family or friends in another state or country due to the price of jet fuel or gasoline; cutting down on medicine and/or food or other necessities due to the uncertainty of the financial state of this union.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I am willing and able to help with organization in my area. I like to travel and meet new people so I hope to attend local and area fund raisers, protests, campaigns, rallies, group discussions, community meetings, educational functions, etc. I have two young nephews, I am concerned that the condition of this earth will not be fabulous for them like I felt it was for me when I was growing up.

There is a perfect storm of events happening right now that create the possibility of a paradigm shift that is urgently needed. We have an angry citizenry due to pain at the pump, a presidential election on the horizon, and a man with a plan to dramatically and imminently reduce our dependance on foreign oil, and provide a bridge to future solutions, who has the resources, contacts, knowledge, wealth and "will" to get it done.
Please share this plan with your circle of friends, family and associates. Urge them to JOIN. As you know, it is simply like signing a petition. With large numbers of supporters, we can put pressure to bear on Congress to incentivize alternative and renewable energies, and insure that our future president will be a leader that will push for domestic energy solutions. JFK once said. "in the next 10 years we will put a man on the moon". He got it done. We need that kind of leadership on energy.
Time is of the essence. If gas prices retreat the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost. How frightening to be looking back and apologizing to our children that we could not get this done when we had the chance.
