Invitation to join the NW Renewable Energy Group
I have started a Regional group, welcoming comments, ideas, and suggestions for Renewable Energy in the NW Region. Including states from the Pacific, Cascade and Rocky Mountain areas. I realize that some of my Pickens Plan friends are outside this region, but you are always welcome to join and add your thoughts to the discussion. We should be looking at best available sources of energy in our region, and ways to improve the power grid to transfer energy from region to region as it is needed.
Ha ha. I tried to sign up on that petition and my computer was acting funny so I thought it didn't go through. Come to find out, I signed it...8 times. lol. So...I guess that covers my five person quota eh? LOL!! Just kidding! Hope you have a great weekend!
Oh you know, my time is your time. I loved that picture of you and the grandkids! I know you have another meeting in the beginning stages so just keep me informed. Sorry I missed you at work today!

Mike,
Thanks for all you're doing in Longview! I'm glad to be on board and look forward to helping Pickens supporters in the PNW.
I looked and the only letter I found was the one formally inviting Mr. Pickens to Spokane to speak at a town hall meeting. So, I guess I am just looking for a little clarification as to what exactly, you'd like me to write up for us. Let me know! I'm gearing up and ready to go!
By the way, the pictures from the Barbeque look great. Let me know when you want to add them to your page. Until later...
Hi,
I am a friend of Carol's, read your comment there. I agree with you that we should leave a better world for our kids and grandkids. It is encouraging to me that people of your generation are doing something positive.

Bill Hallanger of Cowlitz County put up a windmill and the county said no you can't do that. It was on KATU.com today. The story says that state law is on his side. It reads The generation of power by a non-polluting renewable energy source by an individual.... exempt from all statutes and rules otherwise regulating the generation of power.
You don't happen to know him do you? He sounds like someone we need on our side!
Welcome on board Mike! I'll be happy to help any way I can. When I joined the plan the first thing I did was hijack friends and family into joining the site. Then I formed the group and seached for other Spokane folks and also got posted on the "By State" list so that people can find you. Contact Lexi Fish and she will add your group. I printed my own business cards and some of the group members are willing to kick in a few bucks too. Business cards are cheap. I'm hoping to have mine posted on my page. Then...go to local events and start educating the masses. I've also called my local reps and told them I wanted to meet with them and discuss the plan. Tell people that while there is a slight drop in gas now...it won't last and they need to get on board. We need to be an independent country once again. Good lucky buddy and stay in touch! Carol
