Tell us about your experience with alternative energy:
manager of stuent housing needing alt energy application as well as efficiency upgrades. Creating Green housing initiative to integrate student into the right patern of thinking. Including energy credit purchases as inducement to rent.
What excites you about this campaign?
I was excited unil I found that likely 99.9% of the 'army' will not be able to invest in wind generation. I'm not as excited now because I cant invest either. Mr. Picken's Investment vehicle requires a minimum $5 Mil to get in to. if you really want to involve the Army, open the door for them.
What do you want to do to help?
I'll manage the investment portfolio of the small investor within my company, HMS Companies Inc. I'll hire the appropriate staff to do this. I'll manage this for Pickens. Call me at 269 342 1488. Really make a difference. The blogs are lining up against Pickens. Beet them at their own game. Let them in to the investment pool.

Hi mike, I'm the state Internal Communication Director for the Michigan FairTax Assn which works "hand in glove" with goals of the Pickens Plan because by REPLACING the Michigan income tax, families and businesses will have additional disposable monthly income to make energy improvements to their homes and businesses.

For The Facts- End income tax returns, audits, interest, penalties and 1/2 the lobbyists in LansingHow will passage of a MI FairTax do this? It will REPLACE the income tax and current sales tax, with a consumption tax (sales tax at point of retail sale). This means that no more state tax will be withheld from Michigan wage-earners' paychecks. What's more, every Michigan resident-family will receive a monthly "prebate" check, in amount based on family size. This will ensure that NO Michigan family will EVEN BEGIN paying the MI FairTax on goods / services unless, or until, they exceed poverty-level spending.

Under the FairTax plan, points of collection are reduced to retailers many of whom are already collecting sales tax. Because service providers must account for income tax withholding and compliance costs, their prices carry a hidden tax which will become visible under the MI FairTax. (The MI FairTax EXCLUDES business-to-business purchases as this would, again, hide the cost of taxation in prices.)

Because of the prebate to ALL Michigan-resident households, the MI FairTax rate would effectively be 0% on all monthly family spending to the poverty level; thereafter it's 9.75%. The average effective rate will be around 5.5% (see p.2 of pdf brochure).

Please join our email list to learn how you can help advance the Michigan FairTax and facilitate Pickens Plan goals!

Merry Christmas mike,
This year I have helped so many members learn about personal home energy plans. It's all about power use, conservation, and home power generation, things I have been doing at my residence to lower my energy costs. Send me a friend request a to add me mike, I'd be honored to have you as a friend here.

BTW, Michigan: I just posted an article on my page about Home Wind Systems in Michigan. Your state's representatives, governor, and public utility commission officials are not in your corner with this "soft policy" on Net Metering. Instead they have the tables turned against green power for businesses and homeowners. You should read that article, important.

Hello mike, These new roof mounting residential wind turbine kits are shipping now. They are sleek, attractive, and well designed. These are actually a home appliance on the roof, much like an antennae or satellite dish. They are as easy to install as other home appliances, dishwasher, etc. It's a nice clean way for you to begin a personal energy plan. These systems are inexpensive, easy to install, scaleable.

Your Wind blows stronger in the winter, Your Sun shines stronger in the summer months. This hybrid wind/solar system combines these cycles to give a more even flow of energy year round. This homeowner sized wind/solar system provides free power for your home. Many customers have found it easy to become customer/dealers of our kits. Customers can become a dealer with no further investment, they see quickly how people are easy to get interested.

I have used the same systems save money on my electricity costs and mike, you can too. Your local wind resources are so good in Michigan. Have a look at these windmaps and see can you pinpoint what number your area is in. Zone 2 is OK, anything over 2 is (very) good. First double check your wind resources from the map and links below.

If you have a business plan he would look at it. He would be happy to pass it along if he feels it is a solid plan. He works with a lot of matchmakers in the industry as well.

Well whataya know! So Kim has already discussed this with Boone's privacy shield and they have pooped us off. If we are going to ever have a shot at this, the time is now. Later would mean we would eat dust and that may be the case at any rate. Do you have any suggestions?
(Did you see the You Tube video ad against Boone's Plan? Not effective for anyone with ^IQ, but there will be those that put merit in it.)

Hey Mike,
Thanks for the note and I would like for you to send Kim Anderson a letter with maybe more details of what is necessary for US little guys to get IN. She is one of the Pickens Army Lieutenants, and was publicly recognized and praised for her wonderful skills and efforts on You Tube today.
Check her blog out on the members page and you probably already have that info, but if not let me know.
You are really the FIRST to address the issue with careful thought and study.
Let me know what I can do, other than send Kim a letter addressing this issue also, in my lay vocab.
Kim can and will get the message to Boone. If not, there are other ways!
Have a great evening,
Donna

Mike - Thanks for letting me know more about the situation. I didn't realize that people were questioning the integrity or intentions of Boone's plan.

I would love to see us create a company ourselves - and if you feel so strongly about it - then we can do it as an adjunct to what Mr. Pickens is doing, thereby improving the competitive landscape. But I think we should all be aware of precisely how much more time and expense is involved with that option. The Securities Act of 1933 allows the exemption of a company from registering with the SEC, if it only allows "accredited" investors. (That is, a net worth of over 1 million dollars or certain levels of annual income.) And not needing to comply with SEC regulations is a distinct advantage when you need to manage your start up costs efficiently. Of course - that doesn't mean it can't be done, but I can assure you, Pickens is not going to want to take that chance when he can do this without the shakles of the SEC. (See this link for an explanation of what he is avoiding: http://tinyurl.com/4uymdf

Like I said - you can join with others if you want to invest monetarily - but I just know you won't be standing under Pickens name. And to me - the point is to create this reality - and if that means people who are already wealthy growing their wealth through it - so be it. Is that really such a bad thing? We aren't talking about the creation of an exploitative company here. This is a company which could help to create the sustainability of our species. Who is actually being greedy? Pickens? Or the ones questioning Pickens intentions? Has he not already proven how much wealth he is capable of generating and returning to the people? We are risking the wealth of everyone through our cynicism and resistance. And look at the dissent already created by the "non-accredited" investors! You are already witnessing the problems with having these same people involved in the management of the company! The people who question Pickens intentions, are simply mirroring back the way THEY live in the world.

Picken's company will have a far greater chance of success while being managed by a small team of dedicated, knowledgable and wealthy individuals. And wealth WILL return to the people and our land through this, in many other ways besides the growth of stock.

Hi Mike

Glad you are here.

I do not think Pickens is looking for investors. He has plenty. If they are successful there will be thousands of Pickens in his wake. Take a look at some of the archive videos, there is a lot here. Months of interviews and presentations. The backround will make you better informed.

This is the land of opportunity. Start a fund and invest. The best way I know now is to find an existing one- an ETF in the alternative energy realm. One with consultants and educated financial analysts already doing the dirty work. I know of folks that are investing in solar ETFs, and many individual companies. Now is a very difficult time, it would be better to go with an existing established firm, than trying to strike out on your own. Please do not suggest that if Pickens does not accept your funds he is impinging progress. If he were to ask for funds that would be a whole other set of issues. He can't win.

The goal of this site is to get our leaders to actually lead us out of this mess and do it fast. CNG, wind and any other American solutions that keep our money here and provide American jobs.

Welcome all help. When I started there were less than 100,000 members. Many of us have been working very hard for many months and are overjoyed at more new blood to help!

Best
Kim

I'm looking to invest in energy independence. How, I'm working on getting an electric vehicle, converting another to CNG and installing a solar PV system on my home. I encourage everyone to think outside the pump and find other energy sources that work for them. When I have the ability to invest $$$ in companies that are producing clean safe alternative energy resources I will do so. We all have different needs and desires. Companies that fulfill those needs effectively will prosper and we will all know their names.
