- My husband is an NAHB Certified Green Build Professional™ as well as an Energy Star Partner and I am a designated Eco-broker. We know a lot about alternative energy and every house we build now is certified in some way. My husband will also have the first certified Green Built house in High Point soon.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- What doesn't excite me?! I can't decide whether getting off foreign oil is more exciting or employing the ingenuity of bright Americans to create more jobs and get us out of this crazy slump we're in.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I would love to be an integral part of anything that is planned for North Carolina or anywhere else for that matter.

Welcome to an exciting time at Pickens Plan! We have grown to almost 1.4 million suporters since June - just 5 months. There are now less than 70 days until Inauguration Day - we must put it into overdrive!
The Senate's "Gang of 20" and Thomas Friedman, celebrated columnist and author, have all stated that the only way to get the action we need on energy is to build this grass roots effort to un-ignorable heights. (Read at DAILY PICKENS) We need to keep our eye on that goal!
Please get 10 signed pledges faxed in today. It is easy, Boone has done the hard work already. When I brought mine to the UPS Store to fax them, the new owner and his wife signed the pledge. They were huge supporters, but had not had time to go online and just do it. There are so many folks out there like them - we just need to spread the word AND take names.
