Last year I helped so many members of Pickens Plan learn about personal home energy plans. It's all about conservation of power, and home power generation, things I have been doing at my residence to lower my electricity costs. BTW, Texas: I just posted an article link on my pickens page about Home Wind Systems in Texas. Your state's representatives, governor, and public utility commission officials are not in your corner with this "weak policy" on Net Metering. Instead they have the tables turned against green power for businesses and homeowners. Texas has created multiple sets of rules for loopholes and you have less rights than people in other states. You should read that article, important.
The networks lie and only tell half a story so you only get basics and not the whole story. The truth about oil is our commodities market has allowed speculators to make the price what it is. I have some basic market knowledge and did my research many months ago. An article I had posted on my site never made it to the local networks. Saudi Arabia is very upset abput the speculators driving up oil prices and stated they are not at fault and do not charge these inflated prices. Furthermore they asked The US. to take action against the market trading and the speculators. This was not about an oil shortage but rather a way to inflate commodity prices for the sake of a profit. do a search on "the enron loophole" to understand how a handful of people controlled a states energy and caused major problems for millions. There are some great youtube videos on congressional findings on the subject. You'll be more offended to find out how you and all others have been lied to by so many elected people.
The commercal. They have to take out the $120.00 oil price and stick to the conversion. NBC knows the truth and would be held liable for airing utrue statements. last night some stats given stated we get 16%of our oil overseas. Food for thought. We pump oil from many areas in the US including Alaska so why would we be paying so much money per barrel for domestic oil? OK. Answer - it goes to future contracts on the commodities market before the oil refineries see it. I'm al for conversion and oil elimination but unless we pull all energy products off the commodities market we will never get a break and will forever be pounded with astronomical living costs all for the sake of a handful of investors making huge profits on us.
NBC execs should have their heads examined, or pulled out of Rupert Murdochs ass.
