Hi folks,
I don't make a habit of sending out political emails, but coming up on April 1-3 (Wed-Fri) is an opportunity to join an appeal to Washington, D.C. for an INTELLIGENT ENERGY POLICY.
There are many challenges confronting our nation (and our planet) these days...but to me, ENERGY is the #1 political and economic issue facing our government and our society.
Wisely addressing our energy needs can:

Try this: Take ~THE PLEDGE ~ Go to the main page and click on the 'take action' bar, scroll down and click on the pledge. Fill it in and fax it back.
The Pickens Plan is organizing a Virtual March on Washington to be held April 1-3, 2009, RSVP and let's all make the commitment to recruit 10 other people to take part, too.
It is so easy here at this wesite to show your support and take action.
You CAN ALSO HELP BY BRINGING 5 FOLKS TO JOIN the site today, so that we can build a voice big enough that Congress will finally have to listen to us, instead of the lobbyists and special interests, who are trying to derail this historic effort.
Print out 1, 5, 10 or more of them, get them signed and fax them back ASAP. We are now more than a million strong, we want to achieve our goal. Getting through to President Obama within his first 100 days and showing him how important getting out from under the oil dependancy thumb of the world really is, that is our goal.
THERE IS NO TIME TO DELAY
...to wait and see...or to see if someone else will step up to the plate... It is time for US to roll up our sleeves and go to work. Right now momentum is working in our favor, but if gas prices retreat, the public will forget the pain, and our moment may be lost.
Please do not let that fool you! The thing is, the prices may go down, but THE DEPENDENCE ON FOREIGN OIL IS STILL THERE!
A GROUP FOR EVERYONE Check out the many groups for Solar, CNG, your area, etc. Connect, learn and share. We grow stronger with your input. If you don't see a group that speaks to your interest, then start a group of your own.
