I would not accept your friend request earlier because the link in the email I received from you had a URL with a .ning.com, not the regular pickensplan.com url link. I totally freaked out when I clicked on to accept and it opened a new page rquesting my password. In this day & age, it is sometimes difficult to determine whether a site is legitimate or if it is from an unscrupulous source.

I started this quest back in late October, 2008, because I did not have any real clue about what is happening in the financial world, domestically or internationally. I had read Naomi Klein's Shock Doctrine last summer and that got me started. I'll make a list of the books I have already read and the ones waiting for my attention and share them with you.

There are quite a number of qualified thinkers and doers proposing alternatives now. It will take me awhile to sort out all the possibilities.

I think the real void in our education system is the suppression of questioning the teacher. Students are no longer allowed to deviate from the proscribed text and plan. And they are not taught how, and expected to, do independent research. I was fortunate, both at home and in school, that this was a focus of my parents and my teachers. Continually learning new things is good for keeping the brain healthy and much better than hours in front of the Tube.

Thanks for your email from Dr. Young. In regard to his questions:

1. The sales agent is an independent contractor (manufacturers representative) and pays for all his travel and other expenses in closing the sale.

2. We supply marketing materials and other sales support including preparing bids and sales consulting services to help the agent close the deal.

3. We pay a 10% commission on closing the sale.

4. The agent signs an agreement with our company and lists his accounts, once he has made contact and presented the technology he has these accounts exclusively for two years to close sales.

If the agent has contacts who wish to license the manufacturing and marketing rights to a territory then he can make an offer and I will do my best to try to negotiate a deal with the licensor. There are several companies wanting world rights so it's best to move quickly if there is interest. China marketing rights have gone but manufacturing is open. Spain Germany the Middle East rights are all available as of today.

We are the US right holders and looking for additional investment to grow our operations.

I trust that I've accurately explained the status of the company and it's growth.

What excites you about this campaign?

T Boone has invested his money in his belief in wind and natural gas. Natural Gas is a strategic resource that should be used to reduce dependency on oil. All plans to harness wind and solar power should also be supported. Reality check: America can not run a steel manufacturing plant or auto manufacturing and assembly plant on wind or solar power. President Obama is supporting reviving our national railroad. The railroads built America and can carry more goods and people around the country than trucks and buses. If natural gas can move trains, this excites!

What do you want to do to help?

Involve Black American youth, entrepreneurs, and the Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the 'green revolution'. There will be billions in federal funds and jobs. The Democratic regime must make funding available for training so that our unemployed and under-employed young adults can be employed and not left standing on the side lines. The high school curriculum must be upgraded so that students in rural and inner city schools graduate with skill sets that make them employable/trainable through federal funded OJT programs.
