- I have a wealth of knowledge about renewable energy. I also have a background in land management and mechanics. There are many ways to reduce our dependance on oil all we have to do is try.
- What excites you about this campaign?
- What excites me about this plan is that we finally get to combat oil companies and we have a secret weapon..Mr. Pickens himself. It excites me every time I pass a gas station and see the price going higher and higher because I know that, the oil companies are only cutting their own throats. If there’s one thing that frightens oil companies its T. Boone Pickens. With more emphasis on replacing or building infrastructure it defiantly one step in the right direction. Just wait and see what happens when Americans have had enough and take action..Its a wonderful thing.
- What do you want to do to help?
- I would like to join the front lines, work with suppliers to build infrastructure, develop relations with lawmakers, work with clients to analyze and supply green energy to meet all their power generation needs, be an assistant, make an awesome cup of coffee. I would like to join the ranks of Mr. Pickens Green Army.

Happy New Year welcome,
Last year I helped so many members of Pickens Plan learn about personal home energy plans. It's all about conservation of power, and home power generation, things I have been doing at my residence to lower my electricity costs. Send me a friend request a to add me welcome, I'd be honored to have you as a friend here.
BTW, Texas: I just posted an article link on my pickens page about Home Wind Systems in Texas. Your state's representatives, governor, and public utility commission officials are not in your corner with this "weak policy" on Net Metering. Instead they have the tables turned against green power for businesses and homeowners. Texas has created multiple sets of rules for loopholes and you have less rights than people in other states. You should read that article, important.

I have found that petitions are the best way to spread the word AND sign up supporters.
Here is HOW TO TURN THE PLEDGE INTO A PETITION!
I find it easiest to take one pledge, cut off Boone's lines under the pledge and add a sheet of lined paper under the pledge instead. I put NAME - ADDRESS - EMAIL across the top and fill in the first line to set the format. Most are more willing to sign where others have already done so, rather than the single pledge at a time approach. Everyone understands a petition.
I ask if they would "sign this petition in support of T, Boone Pickens energy plan to get us off of foreign oil?" Hand them the clipboard so they can read it. I do not require the signers to give me their email if they are reticent - don't let that be a deal breaker - some just do not want to give it.
Check out the 100CLUB group page to see how others have accomplished the task. (it is the first goup on my page) When you send/fax in 100, let me know, we will gladlyinvite you to be a member of the 100CLUB. Your leadership on this will inspire thousands!
There are over 150 people in the pledge challenge that I know of right now. Surely, there are many more that I am unaware of, as it is in many greetings. Those 150 willl bring 15,000 new members. If each brings just 5 friends, these 150 will be responsible for 75,000 new members.
This is the approach that works best for me - I tried many. Hopefully, this will encourage you to take the challenge, too. CAN YOU HELP?
