The costs for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems have fallen steadily while construction costs for new nuclear power plants have been rising over the past decade, which now makes electricity generated from new solar installations cheaper than electricity from proposed new nuclear power plants, according to a new report published by a retired Duke University professor.
Moreover, the report continues, solar costs are projected to continue its decline over the coming decade while nuclear co… Continue

While visiting a Wisconsin battery plant that he touted as the future of renewable energy in America, US President Barack Obama predicted that his administration’s clean energy policies will create 800,000 jobs in the next two years.
The President also harshly criticized political opponents who blocked some of his administration’s policies in Congress.
“There are folks in Washington right now who think we should abandon our efforts to support clean energy,” Obama told the c… Continue

The 911 false flag operation of the Twin Towers necessitated the use of electronic deception in the media and air traffic to complete their mission. The four civilian passenger planes most likely were diverted to a secluded area of the Atlantic Ocean and crashed and sank quickly with all hands in the deepest part of the ocean or more likely just off the coast of New York. The major Navy training operations which were conducted on the same day of 911 off the New York coast were most likely a cove… Continue

From the highways of Los Angeles to the Citarum River of Bandung, Indonesia, earth's most polluted city of Linfen, China to the streets of London, the world is laden with man-made pollution. Chemical, air, water and oil pollution ruin the environment, cause premature deaths, spoil the world's resources and
The world's most high-profile climate change sceptic is to declare that global warming is "undoubtedly one of the chief concerns facing the world today" and "a challenge humanity must confront", in an apparent U-turn that will give a huge boost to the embattled environmental lobby.
Bjørn Lomborg, the self-styled "sceptical environmentalist" once compared to Adolf Hitler by the UN's climate chief, is famous for attacking climate scientists, campaigners, the media and others for exaggerating the… Continue

America’s need to shake its dependence on foreign oil is one of those issues where people of varied political and philosophical leanings agree: It would be better for the nation if the U.S. imported less oil, particularly from hostile nations. It would stabilize the economy and enhance national security.
And yet, solutions are elusive, and have been for decades. Politicians promise to do something only to be sunk by special interests
2009, for the second year in a row, both the US and Europe added more power capacity from renewable sources like wind and solar than from conventional sources like coal, gas and nuclear, according to reports published by the United Nations Environment Programme and the Renewable Energy Policy Network for the Twenty-First Century (REN21).
Last year, renewables accounted for 60% of newly installed capacity in Europe and more than 50% in the US. This year, or in 2011, experts predict the world wil… Continue

The 7th American Renewable Energy Day was held this past weekend in Aspen, Colorado. The theme was “Creating a New Clean Energy Economy At Speed and Scale.” I couldn’t help but think that is exactly what the Pickens Plan is all about.
This past week I pulled off my bookshelf a book I bought back in 2004 and for a second read. The book is: When There Is No More Oil.... "The Hydrogen Economy" The Creation Of The Worldwide Energy Web and The Redistribution OF Power On Earth. The Next Great Economic Revolution. A long title sure, but an excellent read and a prophetic book to say the least. The author is… Continue
