Electrify the Midwest RailRoads

One of the arguments against the PickensPlan is that the Texas to Canada wind corridor does not have sufficient electricity demand to justify the building so many windmills and that there are insufficient grid connections to carry the electricity to where it is needed.

There is a huge electricity demand hiding in plain site in the Midwest, but it is missed because it is considered a demand for diesel fuel.

INDOT going with propane and CNG

I surfed to the Indiana Department of Transportation website and found they plan to buy propane powered light duty vehicles and compressed natural gas heavy trucks.  This will stretch INDOT's scarce funds further and use America's own resources in the process.  Indiana is taking a step on the path of the Pickens Plan.
