Brother Marvs Pagkanlungan Freedom

FREEDOM (From Believer.Com) Freedom is a subject much in the news today, but few know of the true freedom which is in Christ. A much used Bible reference on this is John 8:32, And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. This is used many times as a salvation theme, but actually it was spoken to very religious (but lost) Jews. Even borrowed out of its context, this verse has a wonderful message for everyone… Continue

Mark Hedtke 1st Anniversary of the Pickens Plan Announcement

While there are certainly many activities and specific events taking place throughout the nation all year long (many now related to energy issues), perhaps we all should take a moment on July 8th to celebrate the creation of this unifying project, called the Pickens Plan by it's founder. Without this visionary's efforts, we still would be languishing in 1970's wishful thinking. So make sure that on this date you send a heartfelt thanks to Mr. Pickens for beginning this road to energy freedom, th… Continue

Jon Osterholm The China question during hard times

I think wind, solar, various hydropower, natural gas, and anything we can thoroughly control within our borders, are the best routes to take to lower pollution (to keep it simple and apolitical). Depending on the oil of the Saudis, Iraqis (eventually) and others, and competing with the well-established, highly unethical dealings of the Chinese (look up some writings regarding Chinese dealings for natural resources in Africa), while we become more and more indebted TO the Chinese,… Continue

W. Dan Chance War to End All Wars - Well Maybe Not But It Will Help.

I just received an invitation to join a PEACE group and no one is more in favor of peace than I am but I had to decline. My response to the originator of the group: Hi David, Peace is a Wonderful objective and I wish you well but I must get back to the war... the war on petroleum itself. America must wean itself from this fuel that comes in the guise of warmth and freedom (to go where we want, when we want) only to reveal later that it is Black Death. We are struggling to replace the black deat… Continue

Kelly Saiya-Cork Northern Passage Provides New Inspiration

The Northern Passage is opening up. As our Arctic Ocean melts, the North American shoreline is becoming accessible to our European and Asian Neighbors. Use of wind and natural gas energies are more important than ever given this unreversible event. Our strength as a nation lies in our economic freedom from others. Has anyone else taken notice? Perhaps the Russians.....Perhaps Bolivia......Perhaps Pickens?? Proactive is the American Way. Success from being proactive is the American Dream. I am… Continue

Chris Streeter 3rd Quarter 2008 - A Paradigm Shift?

Are you feeling the pain of the housing market crash? I sure am. As a custom homebuilder, I have seen our revenues drop over 90% year over year. How about the trauma at the gas pump? The impact of sharply rising energy costs is affecting all of us. On the bright side – the decline in the housing market and consequently my home building business may have brought together the circumstances required to uncover the ultimate opportunity – a chance to be part of a legendary team to change our country… Continue

Bridgette Burbank The Free World: A Highly Evolved Society

Today, while reading the news, I came across an article about a man named Ken Krimstein, a resident of New York, and his experience on September 11, 2001. In describing the renewed sense of patriotism for our country and way of life that resulted from this attack, he said something inspired. He said, "“Freedom is the highest evolved state of civilization that we have, and it can’t be taken lightly.” The past two weeks have been remarkable. A movement has arisen from the people, led by one man w… Continue

Rexrino There are simple things a simple man can do in the meantime.

Unlike Boone T. Pickens, most of us do not have a billion dollars in our bank account. That does not mean we are helpless to do anything about the 700 billion leaving our country every year. We can start by buying American made goods and redirect the money going overseas back into our country. I have been buying 80.00 of gas every month, since 2000, without regard to the price per/gallon. This week, I spent an extra 25.00 for gas over my 80.00 alloted amount. We need to hold the l… Continue
