allen bauman Wall Street is listening!

I was just listening to CNBC when my attention was grabbed by a business news article they were about to do on the smart grid. I'm not an expert on the stock market but I believe this is both good and positive news for us all. It appears that an ETF(exchange traded fund) has been created to trade in companies that are in smart grid businesses. The stock symbol for the fund is GRID and it will create a basket of 29 companies that work with smart grid infrastructure, equipment and components for t… Continue

Joe Drury Upgrade Solar Infrastructure at the U.S. border using Border Fence access

Why not upgrade Solar Power Infrastructure at the U.S. border using Border Fence access to jump start a national solar power grid? Without backing or negating the border fence politics, why not use the current construction and security access created by the massive US-Mexico border fence to support a Solar power grid and power generation infrastructure to supply power to the south west region on both sides of the border? http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=100155361 http://www.… Continue

W. Dan Chance Congressman Mike Rogers (AL)

Congressman Mike Rogers (AL) and I spent about 20 minutes this morning talking about the importance of energy independence and I am very pleased with his attitude on this issue. I do not take dictation so my rendering of his response is as close as I could manage. In other words it is not a quote but the general sense is there. 1 As you know, Russia is forming an alliance with Iran and Qatar to create a Natural Gas cartel. It seems to me that this clearly threatens the security an… Continue

Charles Jones Home Mortgage Bailout by Uncle Sam

I studied the problem facing the US Banks and Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac over the issue of $700 billion loan to the Banks to payoff Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac and to allow the FHA to reorganize those Mortgages. If their plan works the problem will still affect the stock market adversely and foreign nations will still tighten their belts against US Interests. It became interesting as I had my own suspicion of why the problem occurred but it could be more severe when adding to it the reasoning… Continue

W. Dan Chance Green Jobs Grow From Building New Energy Infrastructure

I encourage everyone to go to www.wecansolveit.org. I don't want us to get distracted by following other rabbit trails but in this instance our objectives support each other so well that I felt I should stand with them and make the point that new energy jobs are green. They made it possible for me to send a letter to the editors of about a dozen newspapers from Atlanta to Birmingham on the subject of gree… Continue

W. Dan Chance Alternative Energy Credits Pass, but ... more work to do.

I just faxed the following message to Congressman Rogers, and Senators Shelby and Sessions, all from Alabama. You may want to use this as the basis for a fax or email of your own to your Congressmen and Senators. Please do. Now that the American Energy act has passed it needs to be amended to extend the tax incentive for wind to 8 years. Wind certainly has as much potential for energizing the US economy as Solar and the amount of capital that will be required shouts for a need to encourage it wi… Continue
