I was watching the major media news today while Congress was interrogating the CEO's of the Big Three automakers on why they took private planes to the hearing. Answer; because they can. End of story. It never ceases to amaze me how such trivial news dominates the conversation around major issues while the underlying truths, even those which might fundamentally alter the public perception of the issue, go largely unreported.
While I was watching the news I thought about all of the other auto ma… Continue
It may seem out of context but since Mr. John Worrell Keely (died: NY 11/26/1898) walked this earth many people have learned about Water Hammer but back in his time very few people knew what it was. Many a ghost story was written because of the phenomena known as Water Hammer. Inconspicious as it sounds is a condition in many household's plumbing that is caused by a slow down of the water flow that then creates a temporary vacuum and a violent shock wave sound coming from the pipes. Hello All, with all the current talk on energy I desided to weigh in on my view. I have recently added my name to T. Boone Pickens web site. This post is a response to a Question "What excites you about "The Pickens Plan" campaign?
First off I will say that I hate the word GREEN. Althought I feel we are not being a good stewart of what God gave us to manage and that the worlds temp is on the rise, I do not believe we are the cause. Geology has proven that this world goes through ice ages and he… Continue
