As I prepare the research for a series of articles concerning the impending potential attack on the Iranian Nuclear facilities: "Is Israel the Tail waging US the Dog?", Rumors of an Impending Attack on Iranian Nuclear Complex will Spike Price of Oil back to $150 a Barrel" , and playing out the outcome in my head over the past few days, including a War with Iran involving Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Israel, other Persian Gulf States... We're heading into VM-Day this week.
How the Virtual March is going to work is that each day of the march - Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - We're going to be pushing a different issue every day, so you'll be able to participate all three days.
It's going to be really easy. And it's going to have a huge impact.
If you want to do more than send emails, you can also call your Members of Congress on each day of the Virtual March. If you don't have the direct line for your U.S. Representative or…

Pickens was on the the Bill Maher show it was great. Pickens was able to send the message to the nation that we needed to stop relying on buying more oil from other countries. We are the mercy of other countries and they can charge as much as they want for oil. We need to wake-up and sale green cars in Texas like they do in Oklahoma the Honda Civic CNG. This particular vehicle will run for a lot less than gasoline powered vehicles. I often wonder why auto makers couldn't combine cng and electric…

I also want to say I agree with what President Adams that said that it would be a tragedy for this country if we ever became a two party government. I know we can make a change in 2010 to make a statement by voting out the ones that are part of the problem and not the solution vote someone else in. If you like myself can't run for office for personal reasons then back someone that is not a professional politician. There are some of those in the House and Senate that have been there for most of t…

Markey Chairman of the select committee on energy Independence and Global warming challenged the executives to pledge to invest 10 percent of their profits to develop renewable energy and give up $18 billion in tax breaks over 10 years so money could be funneled to support other energy and conservation. The executives said the companies already are spending billions of dollars - more than $3.5 billion over the last five years - on renewable fuels such as wind energy and biodiesel, but rejected a…

I own a fleet of tractors, of which all 50 are over the road units. As an industry we use a very high portion of fuel to operate our companies. If there are any other members that would like to begin sharing ideas, please add to this. This is a long term, but extremly important part of cutting our use of imports. I have seen many ideas on many different websites as we at my company try to plan long term about fuel and tractor purchases in the future.
Please share your ideas. lets start somewher…

Every year (heck it sometimes looks like every month) nature removes some buildings from the face of the earth. When that happens, we immediately begin rebuilding. Without thinking we try to make everything just like it was before. Why can't we decide that the new building should be better than the one that was destroyed? If the old one had leaky pipes, we wouldn't make sure the new ones leaked too, would we? No, we would install good pipes. If the old building used too much energy and had no me…

Folks,
Our folks in goverment have been very busy over the last four decades researching all kinds of energy supplies, tools, uses and conversions. To say that America doesn't have an answer to its own energy challenges is foolish. We have many answers! Maybe too many. The point is that we taxpayers have funded thousands of studies that have produced results. The (federal) goverment is very good at research, unfortunately, not so good at re-tooling our economy from its findings.
Remember it is…

I believe a few folks in Detroit could use some extra jobs and one thing I know they can do is design the conversion kits form gasoline to CNG for the country. They know the systems inside out. They can start with my 2006 Impala!
It is just a discussion, start one of your own today!
Let's hear what you think! Continue

I just had a chance to see The Usual Suspects on TV. I had seen it years ago but had forgotten most of it except for the fact that I figured out that Kevin Spacey was Keyser Soze a long time before the end sequence. There was one piece of dialogue that stuck with me this time, though, and it seemed to speak more to post 9/11 America than to pre 9/11 America, which may be the reason that I hadn't remembered it the first time I saw it. The dialogue went something like this, while Spacey was being…

The United States has a huge influence on the state of the North American economy and environment. For this reason I believe we must get behind the leadership efforts of T. Boone Pickens in motivating his country to take immediate action to reduce their nation huge dependency on oil for all the reasons outlined in his plan. As Canadians I believe we ought to do our part and not sit on our hands. If you are with me please join my efforts to help join this campaign and support his efforts. I encou…
