As I see it the key to this is private investment and individual property owners using their assets in the free market. Most oil and gas in the US is now on government owned land both on shore and off. A few areas like the Bakken oilfields are still on private propoerty so this is good. Wind and solar can be generated on private proprty and sold in the market. If the Nancy Pelosis and Barack Obamas of the world are allowed to regulate this effort, then it is all for naught.
